Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Complications After Surgery Of Mixed Hemorrhoids With Damp-heat Syndrome By Sitting Bath With The Modified Gallnut Decoctio

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of modified Gallnut Decoction and sit-bath on postoperative pain of mixed hemorrhoids with dampness and heat.Methods: Seventy patients with mixed hemorrhoid damping-heat syndrome meeting inclusion criteria were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 35 patients in each group.The observation group was treated with gallnut decoction and the control group was treated with potassium permanganate(1:5000).All patients began to sit bath on the 1st postoperative day.VAS pain score,anal distension and edema were compared between the two groups on the 1st,3rd,5th and7 th postoperative days.Results:1.There were no differences in gender,age and incision number between the two groups(P > 0.05).2.In terms of postoperative pain: The scores of pain on the 1st and 3rd day after surgery were compared between the two groups,P > 0.05,showing no statistical significance.The scores of the two groups on the 5th and 7th day after surgery were compared(P < 0.05),suggesting that the observation group had better efficacy in relieving postoperative wound pain than the control group.3.In terms of postoperative anal distension: the postoperative distension scores of the observation group and the treatment group were compared,P > 0.05 on the first and third days after surgery,and the difference was not statistically significant;The scores of the two groups on the 5th and 7th day after surgery were compared(P <0.05),suggesting that the symptoms of postoperative anal distension were alleviated more strongly in the observation group than in the control group.4.In terms of the number of cases of edema,the P value of the first and third day after operation was > 0.05 in both groups,and the difference was not statistically significant.The comparison of the number of edema cases between the two groups on the 5th and 7th day after operation showed that the P value was < 0.05,suggesting that the observation group had a more obvious advantage in eliminating edema.Comparison of postoperative edema scores: P > 0.05 on the 1st and 3rd day after surgery between the two groups,with no statistical significance;On the 5th and 7th day after operation,P < 0.05,indicating that the effect of reducing edema in the observation group is better than that in the control group.5.In terms of wound healing time,the average days of the observation group were 24.40±4.08 days;The average days of control group were 26.71±3.88 days;The comparison between the two groups(P=0.0132 < 0.05)suggested that the observation group had more advantages in promoting wound healing than the control group.6.In terms of clinical efficacy: Z=2.057,P=0.040(P < 0.05),indicating that the efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:The addition of Gallnut Decoction can effectively prevent and relieve postoperative pain and edema of mixed hemorrhoids with dampness and heat,relieve the discomfort of anal drop and swelling,and promote wound healing.
