Research On The Narrative Of Images In Comic Strips

As an artistic form with illustrations and texts,comic strips have undergone significant changes in the narrative structure and function of their images with the development of the times.Nowadays,comic strips have shown a more up-to-date aesthetic characteristics in terms of themes,language,display media,and painting materials,and their artistic style and characteristics have gradually become more distinct from other artistic forms.This article studies the image of comic strips as an independent narrative symbol.Firstly,analyze the development of narrative features of comic strips,find out the fundamental reasons for the evolution of image language,and explore the laws of image development;Secondly,it sorts out the elements of the image narrative structure,and summarizes the composition of the narrative structure of a single picture,the overall scene and plot progression,and the processing methods of the relationship between images and text;Thirdly,combined with creative practice,study the expression and application of the image language in the narrative structure of comic strips;Finally,the subjectivity of the image narrative structure in the performance of the theme is discussed,and the creative rules of comic strips are summarized.
