After the birth of the New Culture Movement,a miniature of literature field namely,Lu Xun,had scored a new achievement, which the usage of the vernacular text of modern literature had gradually became popular. However because of the scarcity of literate people at that time, the influence of new literature was relatively limited. The comics is the comprehensive art with the combination of spoken language and pictures,in contrast to the pure novel with plain text, whose popularity and convenience tell its own tale. Therefore, the adaptation of comics to new literary works has came into being, undoubtedly, the most influential one is the adaptation of Lu Xun's novels. The adaptation works of Lu Xun's novel comic strips mainly refer to the comic strips adapted on the basis of Lu Xun's novel. This paper analyses the adaptation of the comic strips in Lu Xun's novels from four aspects. The first chapter mainly introduces the linguistic images in Lu Xun's novels, that is,the background linguistic images, the image linguistic images and the linguistic patterns of "seeing" and "being seen".The background linguistic images are mainly divided into two parts:one is the large space dominated by natural environment, which is composed of open things such as sky, earth and river, the other is the small space dominated by living scenes, usually pubs, teahouses and so on.Closed scenes are presented.Image language mainly refers to the characters in the novel. The image patterns of "seeing" and "being seen" hiding behind the text not only have the objective color of looking on coldly and staying out of the event, but also contain a strong subjective emotion of "sorrowing for its misfortune and not disputing with it".The second chapter introduces the adaptation of scripts in comic strips, which includes four aspects: the prominence and deletion of characters, the enhancement of story coherence, the enhancement of image and the simplification of narration. The third chapter is the analysis of the image presentation in the process of adaptation of comic strips, mainly from the three aspects character image shaping, scene presentation and image narrative.Character image is mainly presented through the portrait andaction of the characters.Scene presentation is the combination of key scenes and dramatic moments.Image narrative includes "spatialization of time" and "narration of time".The two narrative functions of space's timeliness. The fourth chapter summarizes the value and limitation of the adaptation of Lu Xun's novel comic strips.
