Shadow play,also known as Lantern Shadow Play,is an important part of our traditional culture.The shadow puppetry of Huan County has achieved a high level of artistic achievement through the generations of craftsmen,covers the allusion fable,the mountain stone pavilion,the flowers and birds and animals and so on subject matter content,its adornment language is extremely strong.Comic strip is a kind of comprehensive painting,which depicts the development of a story with many consecutive pictures.It is a traditional art form with vivid characters and rich subject matter.Comic books and Huan County Shadow puppetry present a rich and similar narrative expression to carry forward traditional Chinese culture and promote the art of comic strips,this thesis focuses on the decorative language of Huan County’s Daoqing shadow puppetry.It studies the application of the decorative language of Daoqing shadow puppetry in comic strips,explore the significance of the decorative language of Huan County’s Shadow puppetry in comic book creation.
