Narrative "Flow":on The Emotionalexpression In Comic Book Image Narrative

In China,comic art has deep cultural and historical origin as an independent art form.This kind of graphic art form is one of the most popular literary and artistic forms.By comparison with other kinds of art,the multi-view and multi-composition serial image narrative makes the visual experience of the work more rhythmic,makes the content and level of the work richer,and also delivers the viewer with a more unique aesthetic experience.At present,some of the comic strips simply makes use of pictures to tell stories,which focuses on the narrative of the story and ignoring the emotional communication.As an independent art category,Comics should not only focus on telling story,but also should pay attention to coherent emotion and emotional communication.The current comic strip needs to create a local humanistic spirit of art.It should strengthen the local humanistic spirit,show the characteristics of the times and deliver people’s voice.As per growing art creators of our new generation,it is necessary to use painting language of image narrative to tell our local story from the aspect of humanistic care,inherit and develop excellent comic strips to create emotional expression with image narrative method.The target of comic book art is not the Narrative with images,but a way to convey emotions.Only if we could focus on the emotional expression in the narrative of comic strip images,the flowing and moving emotions between continuous images make comic book works gain ground.As per the creative language of comic strips,this paper studies the emotional expression methods in comic book image narrative.We try to comb the emotional expression construction method in the narrative of comic strip images by analyzing the creative experience of excellent classic works and combining the creative experience of the author’s work "Malan Diary".We hope to make contribution to the diversified creation and development of contemporary comics via research.We divide the Paper into five chapters: The first chapter introduces the in-depth interpretation of the problem,the content of research,methods,purpose and significance,as well as domestic and foreign research status quo.The second chapter makes discussion on the characteristics of the image narrative expression of comic strips in continuous time and space and makes illumination on the needs of contemporary comics for humanistic spirit.Through image narrative,this paper analyzes the expression connotation of humanistic spirit in comic strip and discusses the emotional expression of humanistic care.We form the cause of emotional flow in the works with analysis in the process of building image narrative.The third chapter discusses how to construct emotions in comic book image narrative in detail,and how to form emotion flow through the construction of many elements,so as to convey the emotions in the works.We make analysis on the method of constructing emotion expression in image narrative and make combination from the aspects of image reconstruction,symbol extraction,force in shaping picture,rhythmic change between picture,use of media language,emotion construction in narrative field,etc.The fourth chapter makes conclusion on the value and emotional expression development in comic book image narrative,makes exploration and analysis more possibilities of emotional expression in image narrative.The fifth chapter generalizes the full text and makes expectation for the future creation.
