It takes ten years to grow trees and a hundred years to nurture talents.Education is the major plan of the country.it is closely related to every citizen as a huge project,and it is the source of continuous innovation and progress of the country and the nation.For a long time,the country has given priority to education.Rural education occupies an important position of China’s education,which is basic project to implement rural revitalization.Meanwhile,the imbalance between urban and rural education development has always been a key issue in China’s social construction.To further improve the development level of rural education,narrow the gap between urban and rural education resources,and attract more educators,compose an urgent problem to be solved.This work takes Ye Lianping as the main subject,who is a retired teacher lives in Buchen Village,He County,Anhui Province.It truly records Ye Lianping’s teaching work and daily life,revealing his life course.This work takes the timeline as the main logic to promote the narrative,presenting the protagonist’s childhood experience,career choice,turbulent life,stable time,teaching anecdotes,illness,awards and other contents.Through face-to-face in-depth interviews,the education mind of a retired rural teacher was fully unfolded,reflecting the change process of rural education,and triggering the attention of the whole society on rural education.
