Rural education is an important support for rural revitalization.In recent years,"rural revitalization depends on human resources,and the cultivation of human resources depends on education" has gradually formed a social consensus.At the same time,more and more social organizations concerned about rural education.They are redefining their work direction and functions,working closely with education administration departments and schools through teaching.A new ecology of public welfare for rural education is being created together.This project will be based on the 2022 Summer Camp organised by PEER.The camp was selected as the location for this project,which is representative of the First Middle School in Longsheng,Guilin City,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.This documentary aims to explain the significance of humanistic education to rural education by recording the growth stories of the students in the 18-day summer camp.In this way,it also explores the creation mode of rural education documentaries.This paper is based on the creation report of the documentary "Summer Work for Autumn",which focuses on the three parts of creation planning,creation process and reflection,running through the first,middle and last stages of the creation of the work.Using the methods of documentary analysis,fieldwork and interviews,the report discusses the selection of themes and the structure of the work in the documentary on rural education,and also points out the existing problems of the documentary on rural education,such as the strong homogeneity of the content,the lack of in-depth exploration and the traditional stereotypical narrative mode,so as to put forward the creative ideas of difference,innovation and diversity for its future creation.This paper is based on the existing problems of homogeneous content,lack of in-depth discussion and traditional stereotypical narrative models.This paper explores the creative approach of rural education documentaries,and hopes that through the creation and study of rural education documentaries,rural education will receive more attention and provide practical advice and theoretical references for subsequent creators in this field.
