" Fundamentals and Incidentals" are a pair of important categories in the history of Chinese philosophy. In "The Book of Rites · University","Things have their Fundamentals and Incidentals, and knowing the order of things is a shortcut";"From the Son of Heaven to the ordinary people, one is based on self-cultivation",which enriches the philosophical connotation of the pair of categories of "Fundamentals and Incidentals".Zhu Zi and Yang Ming have explored "Fundamentals and Incidentals" from different perspectives, bringing the specific connotation of "Fundamentals and Incidentals" thought to a new level. As an eminent disciple of the Yang Ming Dynasty,Wang Gen put forward the judgment of "being the foundation and the end of the world" through his interpretation of the "Fundamentals and Incidentals" in "University",which is his unique "Huainan Gewu Theory".Wang Gen proposed the "body based theory" for the first time in the history of Confucianism, and based on the "body based theory",developed philosophical thoughts related to the "consistent way between the Fundamentals and Incidentals",The "body based theory" and the "consistent way between the Fundamentals and Incidentals" together constitutes its unique "Fundamentals and Incidentals" thought.According to the theoretical direction of the philosophers of Neo-Confucianism in the Song and Ming dynasties,Wang Gen’s thought of " Fundamentals and Incidentals" can be divided into two parts to interpret his thought: "body based theory" and "The Way of Consistency between the Fundamentals and Incidentals".Unlike Zhu Zi’s "theory of reason based" and Yang Ming’s "theory of mind based",Wang Gen interprets "origin" as "body",and interprets "end" as "family, country, and world"."Body" has become the subject of preaching and preaching. Moreover,it needs to be emphasized that in terms of Wang Gen’s "body" often unifies "heart","body" and "heart" are actually one.Through the research and analysis of Wang Gen’s "body",it is not difficult to find that his "body" refers not only to the body of the body, but also to the moral body of the unity of body and mind. The core tenets of Wang Gen’s theory of maintaining one’s integrity are to maintain one’s integrity, respect one’s integrity, and establish one’s integrity. On the basis of the theory of "body based",he proposed the theory of "consistency between the Fundamentals and Incidentals",and emphasized the need to realize the Confucian "Doctrines" from four aspects: advancing and retreating from the beginning, the spirit of learning from the Tao,the realm of music and learning, and the benevolence of the unity of all things. In general, the path of Wang Gen’s "Fundamentals and Incidentals" thought is roughly as follows:Firstly knowing the essence lies in my body, and then striving to achieve the path of becoming something, not losing the Fundamentals, not leaving the Incidentals, and integrating the internal and external consistency based on the "Fundamentals".Finally, the ultimate goal is to achieve a beautiful society where "everyone is a gentleman, and one can be trusted".
