Chinese character is a writing symbol system for recording Chinese,which is an essential content for foreign students to have the ability of reading and writing in written language.As the structural unit of combined Chinese characters,radical reflects the sound and meaning system of Chinese characters.Establishing radical consciousness is like mastering a key to learning Chinese characters,which will reduce the burden of memorizing Chinese characters,achieve twice the result with half the effort.This paper takes“扌”radical,which is rich in words and frequently used,as the starting point.Then conducts teaching research on this kind of radical Chinese characters based on the Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education(hereinafter referred to as the Grading Standards).The paper is divided into five chapters except the introduction and conclusion:The first chapter is the collation and analysis of the Chinese character with“扌”radical in the Grading Standards.This chapter makes a quantitative and qualitative analysis of 172 Chinese characters with“扌”radical required to be mastered in the Chinese character list of Grading Standards.The paper analyzes the morphological,phonetic and semantic situation of this kind of radical Chinese characters,and provides reference for its teaching.The second chapter is the analysis of foreign students’ acquisition of the radical Chinese characters.This chapter investigates the corpus of Chinese character error-marked text built by Sun Yat-sen University,exhaustively searches 44 Chinese characters with“扌”radical in the handwritten Chinese character list of Grade Standard,summarizes the types of stroke,component and whole word errors,analyzes the correlation of acquisition from the aspects of country,gender and class time.Then,from the aspects of negative transfer of mother tongue,negative transfer of target language knowledge,the characteristics of Chinese characters,the number of near-radicals in the form of similar characters,and phonetic close characters mixing,the reasons for the difficulties are summarized,so as to master the acquisition of such radical Chinese characters by foreign students.The third chapter is the analysis of the teaching situation of foreign students’ radical Chinese characters.This chapter conducted a questionnaire interview with first-line international Chinese teachers.By sorting out the responses,we can master the problems in teaching methods,explanation depth,teaching emphasis and difficulty,and teaching concept of radical Chinese characters,which need teachers’ attention in order to better teach this kind of radical Chinese characters.The fourth chapter is the teaching strategies of foreign students’ radical Chinese characters.Based on the analysis of Grading Standards,acquisition and teaching,this chapter puts forward "textbooks,students and teachers" teaching strategies,mainly summarizes the diversified methods and interesting tools currently applied to radical teaching.The fifth chapter is the teaching design of Chinese characters.The Chinese characters with“扌”radical is selected to make the offline class and the online micro-lesson teaching design.Then evaluate the teaching.The research value of this paper is to provide reference for the teaching of this kind of radical Chinese characters by exhaustively sorting out and analyzing the radical Chinese characters in Grading Standards.It is a useful supplement to the application of radicals in Chinese characters teaching.And sum up the important and difficult points of teaching from two aspects:foreign students and teachers,and then put forward targeted teaching strategies,and carry out the teaching design of offline classroom and online micro-courses in combination with the current teaching trend to deepen the teaching understanding of such commonly used radicals. |
