The use of adjectives such as "Duo(多),Guai(怪),Guang(光),Jing(净),Jue(绝)" in Chinese with adverbs is not only the focus of ontological research,but also poses certain difficulties for international students to learn.This article is based on the "Chinese Language Level Standards for International Chinese Education",referring to the "Modern Chinese Dictionary"(7th edition),and using quantitative and qualitative analysis,corpus analysis,and other methods combined with questionnaire surveys to analyze the acquisition of monosyllabic and paravocative words by international students,in order to identify the difficulties in acquiring monosyllabic and paravocative words by international students.At the same time,through analyzing the errors in the questionnaire and the HSK dynamic composition corpus,suggestions are made for the teaching of monosyllabic adverbial words for international students.An investigation and analysis of the inclusion,labeling,and distribution of monosyllabic adjectives and adverbs in the "Grading Standard" were conducted,as well as an example of "Yuan(远)".It was shown that some typical adjectives or adverbs have gradually shifted to adjective and adverb adjectives.Therefore,inclusion in the glossary and textbook compilation could be considered,and suggestions were made for the compilation of textbooks for Chinese as a foreign language.This article consists of five chapters:The first chapter mainly explains the reason for choosing this topic and the relevant research on concurrent words in China.The definition criteria and scope of monosyllabic adjectives and adverbs were investigated by using vocabulary statistical methods and taking the "Grading Standard" as the object of investigation.A total of24 cases were identified as adjectives and adverbs.Based on the labeling and interpretation of the Modern Chinese Dictionary(7th Edition),the attribute words and homographs in the dictionary are selected and removed.There are 16 monosyllabic and paragraphous words,including "Duo(多),Guai(怪),Guang(光),Jing(净),Jue(绝),Kong(空),Kuai(快),Pian(偏),Quan(全),Tong(同),Xu(虚),Ying(硬),Zhen(真),Zhi(直),Zhun(准),Zu(足)",as well as the research theory,investigation methods,and corpus sources of this article.The second chapter mainly examines the distribution and labeling in the Grading Standard,as well as the classification of "adjectives and adverbs","typical adjectives and adverbs",and "adverbs and adjectives" based on category theory and syntactic distribution.In terms of the functional expansion of adjectives,taking the typical quantitative adjective "Yuan(远)" as an example,through diachronic evolution and quantitative analysis,it is shown that "Yuan(远)" has gradually grammaticalized into the use of adverbs,becoming a monosyllabic adverbial category word.Finally,through a detailed survey of the current situation of concurrent words in textbooks for teaching Chinese as a foreign language and the textbooks "The Road to Success" and "Boya Chinese",it is shown that the concurrent words in the "Grading Standard" deserve more attention and the labeling of parts of speech can be improved.The third chapter mainly analyzes the current acquisition and mastery of monosyllabic adverbial words by international students through questionnaires.It is divided into two groups based on the HSK level,and comprehensively examines students’ acquisition of monosyllabic adverbial words from two types of objective and subjective questions.Based on the data from the corpus,it is analyzed and summarized that the main reasons for international students’ errors in learning monosyllabic adverbial words are negative transfer of their mother tongue,generalization of the target language,and avoidance of use.The fourth chapter highlights specific teaching suggestions and strategies for international student learning,teacher teaching,and textbook writing,mainly combining theories such as linguistics and educational psychology.It plays a certain reference and auxiliary role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language to monosyllabic adverbial words.The fifth chapter is the concluding remarks,summarizing the research results of this article,summarizing the innovations,and also pointing out the shortcomings. |
