| The interpretive theory has developed into a relatively complete theoretical system, which has made great contributions to oral activities and interpretation teaching practice. The interpretive theory places the focus on the interpreter rather than on the interpreted text, emphasizing that the interpreter should fully mobilize his or her own intralinguistic knowledge and illocutionary knowledge, accurately understand the meaning of the speaker, and timely select and adjust strategies and techniques based on the information density, communication needs, and importance of the information in the source language. The interpretive theory has three core components, namely, the hypothesis of “deverbalization”,the triangular model of interpretation process and the interpretation teaching model. The content of this Chinese-English Simulated Simultaneous Interpreting is the second episode of the International Situation and Youth Responsibility Online Forum. This thesis reviews the background, development process, representatives and core theories of the interpretive theory.Guided by the interpretive theory and starting from the core of“deverbalization”,this thesis analyzes the interference factors and solutions of“deverbalization” in Chinese to English simulated simultaneous interpreting. The form of the source language, the literal meaning of the source language, the omission and parenthesis of the source language will all interfere with “deverbalization”.Then, with some cases,it introduces the strategies and skills to solve these problems, such as fission and fusion translation, amplification, omission, simplification, and reformulation. |
