Innovative Research On Three-dimensional Paper Art In The Design Of Children’s Science Books

In order to carry out the fundamental task of establishing virtues and cultivating people put forward by the Ministry of Education,the market scale of children’s books has been increasing and the design of popular science books has been paid more attention.With the update of information technology and electronic reading methods,children’s science books need new development to meet the reading needs of readers.Pop-up books with novel forms and strong visual effects,can attract the attention of readers,improve the children’s interest in learning and learning enthusiasm.This topic studies the application of three-dimensional paper art in children’s science books,explores the design principles and methods of three-dimensional paper art in the design of science books,further enriches the expression forms and methods of children’s science books through research,and makes such books more educational,interesting and interactive,so as to achieve the purpose of improving the market competitiveness of children’s science books.This thesis adopts literature research method,case study method and experiment method.Firstly,based on the application scenarios of the existing three-dimensional paper art in business and books,the author concludes that it has the characteristics of "three-dimensional scene","dynamic structure" and "interactive reader" in books.Secondly,the thesis explores the application of three-dimensional paper art in children’s science books.Based on the existing theoretical research results,it is found that the characteristics of three-dimensional paper art in children’s science books are intuitive,interesting and interactive.Finally,this topic takes the design practice of children’s popular science pop-up book Entomological Memories as proof.Through the audience analysis and content extraction of the contents of Entomological Memories,three-dimensional interactive forms such as pulling,folding and rotating are adopted to enhance the interest and intuitiveness of children’s popular science pop-up books.Based on the relevant theoretical research basis and the design and production of Entomological Memories children’s science pop-up book,this thesis discusses the feasibility and applicability of combining three-dimensional paper art with children’s popular science books,which provides important theoretical value and practical basis for the application of three-dimensional paper art in children’s popular science books.
