| With the continuous innovation of augmented reality technology,AR popular science picture books have appeared in the public eye.Compared with traditional picture books,picture books incorporating augmented reality technology better meet the needs of children as a reader group.It can transmit scientific knowledge points in all directions from vision,hearing and touch,allowing children to learn in a relaxed atmosphere,so as to achieve the goal of entertaining and entertaining.The purpose of this research is to create AR popular science picture books suitable for school-age children,analyze and summarize the cognitive,psychological and physiological development laws of school-age children and their demand for augmented reality picture books.At the same time,it combines the classic picture book cases at home and abroad to study and summarize the advantages and disadvantages of my country’s picture books.Exploratively put forward the design and production process and expression methods of AR children’s popular science picture books.First,we select six most representative locomotives in different periods in my country: steam locomotive,diesel locomotive,electric locomotive,high-speed locomotive,magnetic levitation train,and sky rail train.Combine locomotive culture with augmented reality picture books.Extract the collected picture data,draw the line draft,then fill in the color,after the binding design,print it into a book.Secondly,the model building part is designed and created based on the different models selected,while retaining the prototype.In addition to the appearance,it is integrated into the interior scene of the locomotive and a model showing the principle of operation.The overall model is in a cartoon style,and the textures are in colors with higher brightness and purity.Finally,the interaction design adds gesture interaction,which can realize the functions of zooming,panning,and rotating the model scene,and can watch the model at close and long distances,which more realistically restores the modeling characteristics and internal scenes of different locomotives,so that children can better Intuitively understand the content of popular science.At the same time,an icon design is added,and children can click on the icon to achieve screen capture,mini games,subtitles,and voice explanation functions.Let children interact with the model scene in the virtual environment to enhance the emotional experience from the perspectives of vision,hearing,and touch.This article gives a detailed introduction to the overall conception,design plan,screen drawing,picture book binding design,model making,animation production,interface design,and technical realization of AR popular science picture books.Finally,the pictures and virtual interactive scenes of the "Locomotive Quest" picture book will be displayed,and the feasibility test of the final work will be carried out to ensure the smoothness of the operation.The design work this time is a further exploration of AR children’s popular science picture books,hoping to provide some new ideas for the design and research of domestic AR popular science picture books. |
