| The core literacy is placed in the basic position of deepening the curriculum reform,and the combination of the core literacy and the specific disciplines and the implementation of the teaching practice is an urgent need for my country to establish a curriculum system for the core literacy of the discipline,and it is also an important pursuit of various educational work.The core literacy of English subject includes four aspects: language ability,cultural awareness,thinking quality and learning ability,which are also the main aspects that should be paid attention to in today’s English teaching.Based on the concept of new curriculum reform and the core literacy of English subject,this paper investigates and researches the current situation of cultivating the core literacy of English subject in high school students in Shouguang City,mainly focusing on the following issues.(1)What are the characteristics of the current situation of the cultivation of English core literacy of high school students in Shouguang City.(2)What influence does the teachers’ factors have on the cultivation of students’ core literacy?k(3)As far as teachers and students are concerned,how to promote the cultivation of t99 zhe English core literacy of high school students in Shouguang City more effectively? Focusing on the above problems,this research aims to analyze the current situation of cultivation of English core literacy of senior high school students in Shouguang City,find out the deficiencies of students and teachers,and put forward corresponding suggestions,so as to promote the cultivation of students’ core literacy of English subjects.The research methods used in this paper mainly include literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and statistical analysis.First,by searching and reading relevant literature,this paper summarizes the current research status of core literacy in English at home and abroad,and explains the relevant concepts and specific connotations of core literacy.Then,through the questionnaire survey,the author learns about the current situation of cultivation of English core literacy in high school students in Shouguang City,and finds some aspects which can be improved.For example,students’ reading and writing abilities are better than listening and speaking abilities,thus the development of these four aspects is not balanced.Students’ cross-cultural communication abilities are not strong enough.Students’ independent thinking and creativity are not strong enough.Students’ independent learning abilities are not strong enough.At the same time,through questionnaires and interviews,the author learned that the composition of the teaching staff is very reasonable,but there are still areas that need to be improved.For example,some teachers do not have a deep understanding of core literacy.Some teachers cannot be student-centered.Some teachers cannot use multiple teaching methods and teaching evaluations comprehensively.Finally,the author puts forward suggestions for teachers and students based on the problems and influencing factors found,hoping to help improve teachers’ teaching and the cultivation of students’ core literacy of English subjects. |
