The Compilation And Design Of Native Chinese Textbooks For Tourism In South Africa Based On Demand Analysis

With the rapid development of tourism in South Africa in recent years,the major Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms in South Africa have set up tourism Chinese courses one after another.The lack of tourism Chinese textbooks for local students in South Africa is becoming increasingly prominent.This paper takes the Confucius Institute of the University of Johannesburg in South Africa as an example,mainly in the form of questionnaire and interview to investigate the students and teachers of tourism Chinese course "about th e demand of tourism Chinese teaching materials in South Africa",aiming to analyze the learning characteristics and learning needs of teaching objects.On the basis of studying the needs of teachers and students,this paper analyzes the curriculum of touri sm Chinese and the current situation of tourism market in South Africa.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the whole paper is divided into four parts.First of all,according to the actual situation of the Confucius Institute of the University of Johannesburg in South Africa,the questionnaire is designed and implemented,and the data of the questionnaire is displayed and analyzed by means of charts,supplemented by teacher interviews and market investigation.Secondly,on the basis of previous scholars’ achievements in textbook compilation,the paper further studies South Africa’s local tourism Chinese Secondly,based on Liu Zhaoxi’s tourism Chinese,this paper further discusses the compilation ideas of tourism Chinese in South Africa.Finally,on the basis of the previous research results,this paper starts the actual compilation of teaching materials.Through the analysis of the demand of teachers and students in chapter two and the demand for the market,it can be seen that,from the micro or macro perspective,South Africa has a very large demand for local tourism textbooks.The specific needs of students reflected in the questionnaire data also provide important reference for the compilation of samples of tourism Chinese Textbooks in South Africa;through chapter three,the author makes a reference for the compilation of textbooks The theoretical basi s analysis shows that the teaching concept of "structure function culture" and "task content" are scientific and feasible;On the basis of relatively complete practical needs and theoretical research,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis,and obtains the compilation ideas of South Africa local tourism Chinese teaching materials,mainly including the style structure design,topic function selection and language elements arrangement of the proposed teaching materials;the fifth chapter shows the sample course compilation and reference Teaching plan of South Africa local tourism Chinese teaching materials.
