| Objectives:1.To make a perioperative health education checklist for patients with thyroid carcinoma.2.To explore the influence of health education checklist management mode on the quality of life, compliance with medication and satisfaction of patients with thyroid carcinoma during perioperative period; To provide basis for expanding and improving the perioperative health education program for patients with thyroid carcinoma. Methods:A total of 108 patients with thyroid carcinoma who were admitted to the thyroid surgical department in a provincial Grade-A tertiary hospital from August to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects. The patients in the two wards were divided into control group and observation group by coin toss,of which 54 were in the control group and 54 were in the observation group.Patients in the control group were treated with thyroid carcinoma nursing routine for perioperative management, and patients in the observation group were treated with thyroid carcinoma nursing routine + health education checklist management mode for perioperative management.By using the "general data questionnairepatients general data were collected on the day of admission;by using the“disease-specific health-related quality of life questionnaire(THYCA-Qo L)”and the “European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer quality of life questionnaire(EORTC QLQ-C30)”,the quality of life of the two groups at different time points was measured on the day of admission and one month after discharge;by using the“Morisky medication adherence scale,MMAS-8”the drug administration compliance of the two groups was measured one month after discharge;by using"inpatient satisfaction survey" the inpatient satisfaction of the two groups was investigated at the time of discharge. Therefore, the influence of health education checklist management mode on the quality of life, compliance with medication and satisfaction of patients with thyroid carcinoma during perioperative period was discussed.Results:1.Five first-level indicators such as "admission education"“preoperative education”,23 second-level indicators such as“preoperative postural training” 、“wound and drainage tube nursing”,and 46 third-level indicators such as "neck function exercise guidance“precautions for taking levothyroxine sodium tablets” are included in the perioperative health education list for patients with thyroid carcinoma based on literature review and Delphi consultation.2.There is no statistical difference between the two groups in general data(both P>0.05),They were comparable.3.There was no statistical difference in the scores of THYCA-Qo L and QLQ-C30 at admission(P> 0.05).However,there was a statistically difference in the two scores between the two groups one month after discharge(P<0.05).4.Comparison of inpatient satisfaction scores between the two groups at discharge: the score of the control group was 43.17 ± 6.23,and the score of the observation group was 49.41 ± 1.78(Significantly higher than the control group),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.One month after discharge, the number and constituent ratio of scores in the three areas of low, medium and high compliance were 28(51.85%),16(29.63%)and10(18.52%)respectively.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The perioperative health education checklist for patients with thyroid carcinoma is scientific and feasible.2.The health education checklist management mode can effectively improve the quality of life, compliance with medication and satisfaction of patients with thyroid carcinoma during perioperative period. This mode can institutionalize the management of health education, standardize the content of health education, and standardize the health education behavior of clinical nurses, which improves the influence of health education and provides a basis for expanding the health education program for patients with thyroid carcinoma during the perioperative period. |
