Background Esophageal cancer is a common malignant tumor of digestive system in China,and the fatality rate of esophageal cancer in China ranks first in the world.At present,the best treatment is surgical resection,but esophageal cancer surgery trauma,postoperative complications,postoperative complications are the main cause of death of esophageal cancer.If patients have poor coordination and compliance with treatment and nursing during perioperative period,the incidence of postoperative complications will increase.Studies have shown that most patients with esophageal cancer have a lack of knowledge of rehabilitation nursing after esophageal cancer surgery,poor compliance with respiratory function training,and low overall satisfaction.Health education is an important part of the perioperative period of esophageal cancer and exists throughout the treatment process of esophageal cancer.Active and effective health education can improve patients' awareness of rehabilitation nursing after esophageal cancer surgery,increase patients' compliance,reduce complications and promote patients' recovery.Foreign studies have shown that health education for patients is not only conducive to their active cooperation in treatment and nursing,but also to the rehabilitation of their physical and mental functions.It is an effective way to improve their quality of life.In recent years,with the rapid development of rehabilitation nursing,the level of patients' awareness is gradually improving,the demand for health knowledge is also increasing,and the importance and necessity of health education is becoming increasingly prominent.At present,more and more attention has been paid to the perioperative health education of esophageal cancer at home and abroad.In order to achieve better education effect,the application effect of diversified health education combined with feedback method in perioperative period of esophageal cancer was discussed.Objective To explore the effect of multiple health education combined with teach-back method on cognition,postoperative complications and satisfaction of perioperative patients with esophageal cancer.Method A total of 150 esophageal cancer patients who met the criteria in general thoracic surgery from April to October 2018 were selected as subjects and randomly divided into control group(n=84)and experimental group(n=66).The control group adopted the traditional health education mode,while the experimental group adopted the multiple health education combined with teach-back method.The awareness rate,compliance,complications and satisfaction rate of the two groups were compared and analyzed by questionnaire.Results After intervention,the awareness rate(95.4% vs 72.6%,P < 0.05)of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group.The compliance of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group(92.4% vs 79.8%,P < 0.05).The incidence of pneumonia in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group.The satisfaction rate of the experimental group was also significantly higher than that of the control group(90.9% vs 71.4%,P < 0.05).Conclusion Multiple health education combined with teach-back can improve the patients' awareness of the perioperative period of esophageal cancer,increase the patients' compliance with respiratory exercise,reduce the patients' occurrence of complications,and promote the patients' recovery,which can be widely used in clinical practice.
