Clinical Observation Of Mulligan Technique Combined With Acupotomy In The Treatment Knee Osteoarthritis

Objective: By clinically verifying the optimal curative effect of Mulligan technique combined with acupotomy in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,we hope to find a more simple,flexible and fast clinical diagnosis and treatment method.Methods: This study selected 60 patients with knee osteoarthritis who met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria from September 2021 to September 2022 in the orthopedics clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine as the observation objects.Randomly,30 cases in the Mulligan technique plus needle knife group(treatment group)and 30 cases in the needle knife group(control group)were treated with Mulligan technique plus needle knife group and only needle knife treatment,respectively.There was no statistical difference in general data such as sex,age,course of disease and disease location between the two groups(P>0.05),which was comparable.The sex,age,VAS pain score,WOMAC knee joint score and scoring data of patients in the two groups were recorded before treatment,at the end of treatment for 1 week,at the end of treatment for 3 weeks,and at the time of follow-up(3 months after treatment).SPSS analysis software was used for statistical analysis,and the treatment effects of each group at the same time were compared and analyzed,as well as the effects before and after treatment.Results:1.Gender comparison of two groups of patients,where n=60>40 and all t>5,using four-grid chi-square test,chi-square value is 10.09,and the comparison of the average age of patients in Mulligan technology plus needle knife group(treatment group)and needle knife group(control group)using independent sample t test,F=O.746,t=0.290,P.There is no obvious difference,which is meaningful for comparison.2.Before treatment,the patients in 2.Mulligan technique plus needle-knife group(treatment group)and needle-knife group(control group)recorded the VAS score and WOMAC total score in detail.The data of each group were verified by independent sample T test,and the results showed that there was no obvious difference,which was significant for comparison.3.The independent sample T test was used to compare the changes of VAS score and WOMAC total score between the two groups after treatment.It was known that after one week of treatment,the results showed that P<0.05,indicating that the treatment effects of the two groups were statistically different.Comparing the changes of WOMAC total score between the two groups after three weeks of treatment,the results showed that P<0.05,indicating that the treatment effect of the two groups was statistically significant.4.In the statistical analysis,the proportion of clinically cured patients in Mulligan combined with acupotomy group was 63.34%,the proportion of markedly effective patients was 26.61%,the proportion of effective patients was 6.71%,and the proportion of ineffective patients was 3.32%.The total effective rate of this group was96.66%.In the simple acupotomy group,46% patients were cured,30% patients were markedly effective,14% patients were effective and 10% patients were ineffective.The total effective rate of this group was 90%.The therapeutic effect of Mulligan+acupotomy group was compared with that of simple acupotomy group by rank sum test,and the result was P=0.043,and P<0.05,which showed that the therapeutic effects of the two groups were different,which was statistically significant.Conclusions:Needle knife therapy and Mulligan technique plus needle knife therapy can effectively reduce the clinical indexes(VAS pain score and WOMAC knee score)of patients with knee osteoarthritis,but Mulligan technique plus needle knife therapy is superior to the former in relieving pain,improving knee joint motor function and improving daily living ability,and the clinical total effective rate of Mulligan technique plus needle knife group is higher than that of needle knife group;In this study,Mulligan is based on the theory of modern medical myofascia,and the acupuncture point of acupotomy is combined with the theory of traditional acupuncture and meridian.The combination of the two has achieved good curative effect,and Mulligan technology combined with acupotomy has the advantages of rapid onset,simple and convenient operation,good effect,economic safety and no adverse reactions,which is worth popularizing in clinic.
