Objective: To provide an effective and simple treatment for cervicogenic headache through clinical observation and comparison of the clinical efficacy of Shunjianfuwei technique combined with point pressure on the “Jiujie point” and conventional tuina. Methods: Seventy-two patients with cervicogenic headache who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group, and the treatment group was treated with Shunjianfuwei technique combined with point pressing “Jiujie point”,while the control group was treated with conventional tui-na.Both groups were treated once a day for 4 days, and a total of 2 courses of treat ment were completed. The efficacy was evaluated by comparing the VAS score,NDI score and mean blood flow velocity of vertebral basilar artery before and aftert reatment. Results: The VAS score,NDI score and mean blood flow velocity of vertebral basilar artery improved before and after treatment, and the treatment group was better than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant by statistical analysis test(P < 0.05);the total effective rate of the treatment group was 94.4% and the apparent efficiency was 44.4%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 83.8% and the apparent efficiency was 19.4%,and the difference was statistically significant by statistical analysis test(P < 0.05).The difference was statistically significant, and the apparent efficiency of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group. Conclusion: The combination of Shunjianfuwei technique with point pressure on the “Jiujie point” and conventional tui-na treatment can accelerate the blood flow of the basilar artery, and both treatment methods are safe and effective in the treatment of cervicogenic headache, and the efficacy of Shunjianfuwei technique with point pressure on the “Jiujie point” is better than that of conventional tui-na treatment.
