Clinical Observation On Treating Postpartum Depression Of Liver Qi Stagnation By Medicine-separated Moxibustion On Navel Combined With Acupuncture

Objective:To compare the clinical efficacy between medicineseparated moxibustion on navel combined with acupuncture and conventional acupuncture in patients with postpartum depression of liver qi stagnation.Methods:66 patients with postpartum depression of liver-qi stagnation were randomly divided into the control group(acupuncture group)and the treatment group(medicine-separated moxibustion on navel combined with acupuncture group),33 patients in each group.During the actual clinical treatment,3 cases were lost in both groups,and finally 30 cases were included in the treatment group and the control group.The differences in efficacy between the two groups was compared by analyzing the total TCM symptom score and single symptom score,the score of TCM single symptoms,the score of Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale,and the score of Hamilton Depression Scale before and after treatment.Results:(1)After treatment,the total effective rate was 93.33%in the treatment group and 73.33%in the control group.According to the chi-square test,the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).(2)After treatment,the total TCM symptom scores of both groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).(3)In terms of single scores of TCM symptom,both groups were lower than before treatment(P<0.05).But the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in improving depressed mood and depressed emotion(P<0.01),and better than the control group in improving sleep,chest tightness,breast pain,flank fullness pain,deep sigh(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in improving the lochia(P>0.05).(4)After treatment,the EPDS scores of patients in both groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was more advantages in reducing the EPDS scores(P<0.05)。(5)After treatment,the HAMD scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group had better efficacy than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical effect of medicine-separated moxibustion on navel combined with acupuncture in the treatment of postpartum depression of liver qi stagnation is better than that of conventional acupuncture.
