| Under the new situation of normalised epidemic control, the work of medical staff, who are already affected by the imbalance of medical resources and the increasing conflict between doctors and patients,is becoming increasingly stressful. The stress level of medical staff not only affects their physiological and psychological health, but also has an impact on the relationship between doctors and patients, medical safety and quality of care. Therefore,a systematic investigation into the stress situation of medical staff and the scientific proposal of stress management measures can more effectively maintain the physical and mental health of medical staff, thus further improving the current conflict between doctors and patients and improving the quality of medical services. At present, research on this type of work stress in China is mostly limited to clinicians or nurses, and there are few studies on the impact of epidemic prevention and control measures on the new crown. Therefore,it is particularly important to systematically study the occupational stress situation of medical staff in the context of the normalisation of epidemic prevention and control, and to propose effective measures for stress management. After an in-depth literature study, the author used a scale for clinicians’ work stress, modified and expanded its original items, and developed the "Stressor Scale for Medical Staff’,which is more suitable for this study. The results of a survey of 314 medical staff on the current state of work stress are as follows:(1)By selecting eight different dimensions(including organisational management, professional interest, epidemic prevention and control, workload, career development, interpersonal relationship, external environment and doctor-patient relationship)to form the Medical Staff Job Stressor Scale, the scale has good structural validity and homogeneous reliability,so it is suitable for the study of medical staff job stress.(2)The overall work pressure of medical staff is at a high level.(3)There are differences in the level of work pressure among medical personnel with different degrees.Medical personnel with college degree or below feel the greatest work pressure, and those with college degree feel the lowest work pressure. There are significant differences between the two.(4)There is a significant difference in work stress among medical professionals of different ages, with those aged 31-35 having the highest work stress, followed by those aged 36-40,and those aged 24 and younger having the lowest stress.(5)Medical staff in different departments:There are significant differences in work pressure. The overall pressure of medical staff in clinical departments is the highest, while the pressure of medical staff in physical examination centers is the lowest.(6)Medical staff with different professional titles have significant differences in their work pressure. The primary professional title feels the most pressure, the intermediate professional title is in the middle, and the senior professional title is the lowest.(7 The medical staff who have worked for 3-5 years feel the greatest work pressure, followed by 6-10 years, which is significantly different from those who have worked for more than 20 years.Suggestions for countermeasures to ease the work pressure of medical staff:(1)Government level:accelerate the improvement of the legal system of the medical industry;establish a sound medical risk warning system;ensure that safeguards for special epidemics are in place.(2)Hospital level:improve welfare treatment and optimize promotion channels;improve management system and rationalize personnel arrangement;do a good job in material security and optimize emergency plans;create a good atmosphere and enrich staff life;find the right hospital positioning and take into account fairness and efficiency.(3)Social level:guide positive public opinion and establish correct values;create a harmonious environment and improve the relationship between doctors and patients.(4)Personal level:enhance the mind, set the right understanding;face the pressure and challenges head-on. |
