Construction Of Core Competence Evaluation Index System For Clinical Research Nurse

Objective Based on the relevant research theories at home and abroad,this study explored the core competence of clinical research nurses,and formed a relevant evaluation index system,aiming to construct a set of scientific and objective evaluation index system of clinical research nurses’ core competence in line with China’s national conditions,and provide reference for the training,evaluation and assessment of clinical research nurses’ core competence.Methods This study used literature research,theoretical analysis and semi-structured interview to construct the basic framework of clinical research nurses ’ core competence.The Delphi expert consultation method is used to screen and modify the indexs,and finally determine the indexs at all levels;using analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight coefficient of indexs at all levels;the positive coefficient,authority coefficient and coordination degree of experts were calculated and analyzed by Excel and SPSS25.0 statistical software to test the scientificity and reliability of Delphi expert inquiry method.Results ① Based on the results of literature research and semi-structured interview,and after the collective discussion of the research group,the basic framework of the evaluation index system of clinical research nurses ’core competence was preliminarily formulated,including all aspects of the ability to participate in clinical trials.② A total of 21 experts from 16 tertiary A hospitals in 9 provinces and cities completed the letter inquiry of Delphi experts in this study.The positive coefficient of the two rounds of Delphi expert letter inquiry was 100%and 85%respectively,the judgment coefficient was 0.8,the familiarity degree was 0.84,and the authority coefficient was 0.82.The coordination coefficients of the second round of expert consultation for indexs at all levels were 0.224,0.398 and 0.211,respectively,and the overall coordination degree was 0.244.The chi-square test showed that P<0.001,and the difference was statistically significant.③ The analytic hierarchy process(AHP)is used to determine the weights of the first-level and second-level indexs,and the subjective judgments of the consultants are quantified.The CI and CR of the first-level and second-level indexs are<0.1.The final evaluation index system of clinical research nurses ’core competence includes 7 first-level indexs(theoretical knowledge ability,professional practice ability,program implementation ability,critical thinking ability,communication and cooperation ability,management ability,professional development ability),23 second-level indexs and 95 third-level indexs.Conclusion The core competence evaluation index system of clinical research nurses constructed in this study included 7 first-level indexs(theoretical knowledge ability,professional practice ability,program implementation ability,critical thinking ability,communication and cooperation ability,management ability,professional development ability),23 second-level indexs and 95 third-level indexs.The expert opinions were concentrated,the results were scientific,objective and reliable,and the weight coefficients of first-level and second-level indexs were established,which provided scientific and objective important reference for the training,evaluation,assessment and appointment of clinical research nurses.
