Clinical Study Of Acupuncture And Bloodletting Combined With Thunder And Fire Moxibustion In The Treatment Of Post-herpes Zoster Neuralgia(Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome)

Objective: In this study,patients with QI deficiency and blood stasis syndrome of postherpetic neuralgia(PHN)were treated with acupuncture and bloodletting combined with thunder and fire moxibustion,and compared with oral conventional Western medicine,to objectively evaluate the difference of clinical efficacy between the two groups and explore the superiority of acupuncture and bloodletting combined with thunder and fire moxibustion in the treatment of PHN.It provides a basis for further study of acupuncture and moxibustion in treating PHN of qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.Methods: A total of 72 clinical cases from the Department of Acupuncture and moxibustion and dermatology of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were admitted and treated in this study.The 72 patients meeting the inclusion criteria were divided into two groups according to the random number table method,with 36 cases in each group.In the treatment group,acupuncture and bloodletting and thunder fire moxibustion were alternated every other day.The two treatments were applied 10 times each for a total of20 days.The control group took conventional western medicine orally for 20 days.Before and after treatment,Visual Analog Scales(VAS),Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),and the final efficacy was determined.Results:(1)Before the experiment,the basic information of the two groups was compared,that is,age,sex and course of disease.The results of the above data were all P > 0.05,reflecting the comparability of the two groups of patients.(2)VAS score,HAMA score and PSQI score of the two groups were analyzed before the test,and the above data were all concluded P > 0.05,indicating no statistical difference,which could be compared.(3)Comparison of VAS score,HAMA score and PSQI score after the test: intra-group comparison between the treatment group and the control group showed a conclusion(P <0.05),indicating that the two groups had played an obvious curative effect.In the comparison between the two groups,the scores before treatment were analyzed,P > 0.05,so it can be compared.After the treatment,the results showed that the VAS score,HAMA score and PSQI score of the two groups showed significant differences,with statistical significance.In contrast,the scores of the treatment group were significantly lower,indicating that in the two groups,the treatment group had more significant improvement in pain,anxiety,sleep disturbance and other symptoms,and its efficacy was better.(4)After the completion of the test,the total effective rate of the two groups was 94.11%in the treatment group and 87.50% in the control group.The overall effective rate of the two groups was tested,and P=0.039 < 0.05 was obtained,It indicates that there is a significant difference in efficacy between the treatment group and the control group in this study,and the former has better efficacy.Conclusion:(1)Acupuncture and bloodletting combined with thunder fire moxibustion and oral conventional Western medicine have a certain effect on post-herpetic neuralgia(PHN)with qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.(2)After the course of treatment,in terms of relieving pain symptoms,the treatment of acupuncture and bloodletting combined with thunder and fire moxibustion is more effective than oral conventional Western medicine.(3)In the treatment of acupuncture and bloodletting combined with thunder and fire moxibustion,patients have no adverse reactions,high clinical satisfaction,and accurate curative effect,worthy of clinical promotion.
