Abstract/Summary:
Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction in the treatment of residual low back and leg pain after percutaneous foraminal endoscopy for lumbar disc herniation in order to provide reference basis for clinical optimization of treatment. Methods: From January 2021 to January 2022,60 patients with lumbar disc herniation who were admitted to the spine surgery clinic of Fuzhou second hospital and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and had postoperative residual low back and leg pain were randomly divided into control group and treatment group. The patients in the control group were treated with celecoxib capsule, and the patients in the treatment group were treated with Duhuo Jisheng Decoction on the basis of celecoxib for 14 days.VAS score, lumbar JOA score and ODI index of the two groups were recorded on the first day,two weeks and one month after operation. The curative effect was evaluated according to Diagnostic and curative effect standard of TCM disease and syndrome in one month after operation.Results:1.A total of 60 patients were included in this study, and all patients successfully completed this study. There was no significant difference in the general data(age, gender, course of disease, prominent segment)between the two groups(P > 0.05).On the first day after operation, there was no significant difference in VAS score,JOA score and ODI index between the two groups(P > 0.05).2.VAS: The VAS scores of the two groups decreased at 2 weeks and 1 month after operation compared with the first day after operation, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);Two weeks after operation, the VAS score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P < 0.05);One month after operation, the VAS score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).3.JOA score: Compared with the first day after operation, the JOA scores of the two groups increased 2 weeks and 1 month after operation, which was statistically significant(P <0.05);The JOA scores of the treatment group were significantly higher than those of the control group at 2 weeks and 1 month after operation(P < 0.05).4.ODI index: Compared with the first day after operation,ODI index decreased 2 weeks and 1 month after operation in both groups(P < 0.05);The JOA scores of the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group at 2 weeks and 1 month after operation(P < 0.05).5.Results of clinical efficacy evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine: In the treatment group,10 cases were clinically effective and 14 cases were improved, and the total effective rate was 80.00%;In the control group,5 cases were clinically effective and 9 cases were improved. The total effective rate was 46.70%.The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusions:Ⅰ.The treatment of celecoxib alone and Duhuojisheng decoction combined with celecoxib can improve the symptoms of residual low back and leg pain after holoscopy.Ⅱ.Compared with the treatment of celecoxib alone,Duhuo Jisheng decoction combined with celecoxib can better reduce the pain degree of residual low back and leg pain in patients with lumbar disc herniation, improve the postoperative lumbar function and improve the postoperative quality of life.
