| Purpose:To observe the prevention and treatment effects of low back pain in the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis after decompression of vertebral lamina fenestration with the Duhuo Jisheng Decoction.Material and method:Sixty patients with lumbar spinal stenosis treated with decompression of vertebral lamina fenestration in the Department 1 of Orthopaedics,The Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September2016 to December 2018 were randomly divided into Chinese medicine treatment group(Chinese medicine group)and surgery alone group(Control group).2 weeks,1month,and 3 months are the follow-up time.The improvement of preoperative and postoperative pain was evaluated by VAS scores,and the improvement of preoperative and postoperative lumbar function was evaluated by the Oswestry Disability Index(ODI).Through the statistical software SPSS25.0 to statistical analysis and comparison to judge the curative effect.Results:Postoperative VAS scores of all patients: 2 weeks(3.78±0.69),1 month(2.55±0.87),3 months(1.85±0.66);postoperative ODI: 2 weeks(0.36±0.07)1 month(0.25±0.07),3 months(0.24±0.04);each index was significantly improved compared with preoperative,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The VAS scores of the Chinese medicine group were 1 month(2.03±0.49)and3 months(1.43±0.50).The postoperative ODI was 1 month(0.21±0.05)and 3months(0.19±0.03).The VAS scores of the control group were 1 month(3.07±0.87)and 3 months(2.27±0.52).The postoperative ODI was 1 month(0.29±0.05)and 3 months(0.25±0.04).The scores of the Chinese medicine group at 3 months after surgery weresignificantly better than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The symptom of low back pain in patients after surgery can effectively improved by the Duhuo Jisheng Decoction,and the significant preventive effect on postoperative low back pain were received.The long-term efficacy needs to be observed. |
