| The analysis and response to the mass crisis of college students is the objective requirement of the harmonious development of the society in the new era,and is also an important and long-term task of the current higher education.College student crisis happens from time to time,but the reasons are much the same,risk factors will always exist,meanwhile it would bring greater harm to the campus’good atmosphere,learning environment,living environment,social stability&orderly development and people’s happiness index of ascension.Although with the rapid development of China’s economy and national and social attention and attention to the degree of continuous improvement,in the concept of school,school scale and social influence have been improved,but it has also brought new management difficulties.At present,the development of China’s market economy and national social undertakings is still in a new period of economic transformation and upgrading.School education and social education interact with each other and are integrated.A series of factors e.g.campus crisis prevention is not perfect and not systematic,students’ awareness of prevention and control is weak,psychological problems are increasing that would make it no longer same as the past which were rare and unusual things.Compared with students of public colleges,students of private colleges shows certain weakness in academic foundation and comprehensive qualities,due to the varieties in school-running levels,admission bathes,admission scores and talent cultivation program settings.In addition,factors from various industries also bring difficulty to student management.Consequently,there are many potential inducing factors of crisis events in the process of students’management,and crisis events occur frequently.Many practical problems in management still exist.This thesis is a descriptive case.The case is based on the pulmonary tuberculosis group infection incident in Y University in 2019.Through the description of the pulmonary tuberculosis group infection incident in Y University and the crisis response,measures adjustment and active implementation under the leadership of the manager Wu Jingyi,it introduces the procedures and experience of Y University in the process of responding to and dealing with the prevention and control of mass infectious disease crisis.Through the description of the crisis management process at different levels,angles and positions,this paper comprehensively shows the responsibilities of different roles of enterprises while adopting crisis prevention and control,which is full of uncertainty and suddenness;When problems occur during the prevention and control process,the mission and response of managers from the grassroots to middle and senior levels,and the communication and coordination between organizations and individuals when individuals encounter resistance and problems in the prevention and control process.It also analyzes the favorable and unfavorable effects of self-media among college students from the perspective of the times development.This case can help readers better understand the relevant theories and key points of crisis management,and beneficial to similar organizations who could learn relevant experiences.It could bring valuable reference when crisis is unavoidable.The case mainly consists of two parts.The first part is the main body,which includes mainly five parts e.g."Introduction","Background Introduction","No.0"Infected Case","Urgent Situation" and "Problem Solved".The above case reflects the process of middle-level managers represented by Wu Jingyi who actively responded to and resolved the crisis when a sudden mass tuberculosis infection crisis occurred in Y University in 2019.There are four measures.Firstly,the organization should locate the No.0 infected case and cut off the route of infection as soon as possible,which Wu Jingyi was deeply aware of and quickly deployed;as a result,the risk of disease infection spread is reduced.The second step is to take decisive measures,including reporting to higher management team,asking for instructions,holding joint meetings,diverting treatment and quarantining people,etc.,to block the transmission route as much as possible.For a middle-level manager,the third measure is to find ways to better liaison various ranks,organize and implement crisis responding measures with leadership.Fourthly,Wu Jingyi carefully summarized and reviewed his experience in dealing with mass infection incident when situation is under control.The second part is the application and analysis of the case,major demonstrates how the relevant knowledge and theories about crisis management is proceeded,via in-depth understanding of the actual situation of crisis management,analyze the actual status of the case.The main content of crisis management includes crisis pressure reduction,crisis preparation,crisis response time,and crisis recovery period,in the process of crisis response.The possible problems and strategies in crisis management are explained based on the 4R theory and 5S principle of crisis management.In the end,this paper introduces suggestions on how to face and control future crisis better,based on the reality and assumption of crisis management. |
