Clinical Study Of Self-Made Hezhongzhixie Decoction Combined With Fire Dragon Moxibustion In The Treatment Of Liver Depression And Spleen Deficiency Irritable Bowel Syndrome (Diarrhea Type)

Objective:Hezhongzhixie Decoction combined with Fire Dragon Moxibustion is a curative treatment for patients with liver disorder and spleen deficiency type IBS-D,while the external treatment is Fire Dragon Moxibustion method,the internal treatment is Hezhongzhixie Decoction,internal and external combination of decoction,to observe its clinical efficacy,and to evaluate the related scale,comparisons were made before and after treatment,adjuvant evidence and abort Hezhongzhixie Decoction combined with Fire Dragon Moxibustion can prevent the further development of this disease,In order to achieve less symptoms and reduce recurrence.Methods:Selected patients with IBS-D with liver depression and spleen deficiency who were treated at the clinic and sickroom of the department of gastroenterology,Weifang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine between2020.01 and 2020.12,were selected as the study subjects,and 40 subjects in the control group were treated with spasmolytics and probiotics,otinium bromide tablets and bifidobacteria quadruple live bacteria tablets;In the posttreatment group,40 subjects were treated by Hezhongzhixie Decoction combined with Fire Dragon Moxibustion for two weeks.Using spss 26.0 software statistical analysis of TCM syndrome scores,IBS defecation status scores,anxiety self rating scale scores,and depression self rating scale scores before and after treatment in both groups.Results:(1)TCM syndrome scores: the two groups’ total TCM syndrome scores were significantly lower than before(P < 0.01),and the effect of the posttreatment group was better than control group(P < 0.01).The posttreatment group was superior to the control group in improving all TCM symptoms(P < 0.05 or P <0.01);There was no effect in control group for lessening the negative emotions,fatigue,anorexia and the distending pain of ribs(P > 0.05).(2)Anxiety and depression self rating scale scores: the scores of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than before(P < 0.01),and the scores of the control group were higher than posttreatment group after treatment(P < 0.01).(3)IBS-DSQ: the stool characters,the days of defecation urgency in last10 days,and the daily maximum times of diarrhea were lower than before(P <0.05 or P < 0.01),posttreatment group’s indexes were lower than the control group(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01).(4)Clinical efficacy: the efficacy of TCM syndromes,the total effective rate of the posttreatment group was 87.50%,the total effective rate of the control group was 55.00%,the efficacy of stool character scores,the total effective rate of the posttreatment group was 85.00%,the total effective rate of the control group was 65.00%,and the overall effective rate of the posttreatment group was better than control group(P < 0.05).(5)Safety: no adverse events occurred in subjects of both groups during the study,and no significant adverse effects were observed with the treatment.Conclusion:The effect of Hezhongzhixie Decoction combined with Fire Dragon Moxibustion on diarrhea type of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency was significantly better than control group,which can effectively reduce the clinical symptoms of patients.And the the posttreatment group showed no adverse events during treatment,which was safe and reliable.
