Objective:To explore a new treatment for irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhoea of the liver depressed and spleen deficient type by observing the effect of Shaksha-Shaksha-Tsushoku(self-prescription)on irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhoea of the liver depressed and spleen deficient type, and determining its specific role in clinical practice.METHODS:Sixty subjects with irritable bowel syndrome(liver-depression and splenomegaly type)were collected from Heilongjiang University of Traditi-onal Chinese Medicine Hospital, and these subjects were randomly assigned to treatment and control groups by random number method. The treatment group received hepatobiliary-pancreatic hypoglycaemic soup(in-house preparation)8 and the control group received painful diarrhoea pellets orally. The total treatment period was 4 weeks, and clinical efficacy was observed in both groups before and after treatment, with a follow-up evaluation one month after treatment was discontinued.General data,TCM single syndrome score,TCM comprehensive syndrome score and IBS-SSS score were compared for the two groups of patients with diarrhoeal irritable bowel syndrome(liver-depressed and splenic-empty type).RESULTS:There were no statistically significant differences in patients’ gender and age(p>0.05).When comparing the actual situation before and after treatment, there were significant differences, with significantly lower scores for each individual TCM symptom. The total number of TCM symptoms was lower than before treatment, which was statistically significant(p<0.05).The efficacy rate of TCM symptoms totalled 93.33%,of which four cases were cured with a cure rate of 13%,16 cases were effective with an efficacy rate of53%,eight cases were ineffective with an efficacy rate of 26% and two cases were ineffective with an inefficiency rate of 6%.In the pre-and post-treatment IBS-SSS table, the post-treatment score was 186.67 ± 80.573,significantly lower than the pre-treatment score of 282.67 ± 80.64.CONCLUSION:The effect of dehepatic hemostasis(self-prescription)on diarrhoeic irritable bowel syndrome with liver and spleen deficiency was significantly better than that with painful diarrhoea ning granules, and this method was effective in relieving patients’ emotions and improving the cure rate. |
