Retrospective Analysis Of Hospitalized Cases Of Knee Osteoarthritis In Acupuncture Department In Recent 5 Years

Objectives: This study intends to the affiliated hospital of Shandong university of Chinese medicine acupuncture hospital and hospitalized and the first diagnosis of knee osteoarthritis(KOA)patients with systematic,comprehensive,standardized retrospective review,preliminary analysis of KOA characteristics,summarizes the characteristics and rules of KOA acupuncture and moxibustion,provide clinical ideas for acupuncture treatment of KOA.Methods: According to the research purpose,a case information collection form was designed,and the medical record numbers of all patients first diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis in October 2015 to October 2020 were collected from the medical record system of the hospital.According to the medical record numbers,relevant cases were read one by one.The patient’s basic information,symptoms,signs,important laboratory and imaging examination results and treatment methods,treatment effects,hospitalization period and discharge were recorded in the information data collection form.All the data were input into the computer,and statistical analysis was conducted with SPSS26.0 statistical software.Results:(1)There were 162 case data meeting the inclusion criteria.After statistical treatment,it was found that KOA patients were found in the primary and early term,more female patients than men,and the majority of patients were 61-70 years old,accounting for 32.72% of the total number.The number of people presenting with diseases in summer is large,accounting for about32.10% of the total population.(2)Most of the patients with KOA in this study improved significantly within 15–21 days of hospitalization,accounting for approximately 38.27% of the total population.(3)Fatigue,cold and improper activities are the main reasons for the occurrence or aggravation of KOA.(4)Among the "TCM Syndrome Types",the "cold dampness obstruction syndrome" is the most,59 cases,accounting for 36.41%;The second is "deficiency of liver and kidney,obstruction of cold and dampness syndrome",47 cases,accounting for 35.20%.(5)When treating patients with koa,the routine treatment methods of the Acupuncture Department of our hospital are ordinary acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine combined with moxibustion,electroacupuncture,ear acupuncture,acupoint application,warm acupuncture,wax therapy,traditional Chinese medicine smearing and other treatments to enhance the curative effect.The frequency of selecting and using ordinary acupuncture points is as follows: Dubi,Liangqiu,Xuehai,Neixiyan,Taichong,Zusanli,Sanyinjiao,Yinlingquan,Yanglingquan and Xuanzhong;(6)The taking rate of traditional Chinese medicine decoction was 81.48%,of which the main prescription "Duhuo Jisheng Decoction",as the basic traditional Chinese medicine prescription for the treatment of KOA in the Department of acupuncture and moxibustion of Shandong hospital of traditional Chinese medicine,was the most used,accounting for 53.79% of the total number of people taking traditional Chinese medicine.Conclusion:The patients in the Department of acupuncture and moxibustion in our hospital are mainly middle-aged and elderly,and most of them are in the prime and early stages.The treatment scheme adopts the comprehensive treatment mode of traditional Chinese and Western medicine,mainly acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine,combined with electro acupuncture,moxibustion,ear acupuncture,acupoint application,warm acupuncture,wax therapy,traditional Chinese medicine rubbing and other treatments to enhance the curative effect;At the same time,Chinese patent medicine,acupoint injection,intravenous injection,in-hospital preparation,western medicine and other treatment methods are used.The cooperation effect of various treatment methods is good,which can greatly shorten the treatment cycle while improving the curative effect.
