Colored potato tubers are rich in anthocyanins,which have various functions such as antioxidant,cosmetic,and health benefits for the human body,thus attracting people’s attention.The new variety’Zicai No.2’was crossed breding by the imported variety’MIN-021’and the domestic bred variety’Heimeiren’,in the early stage of our research group.It has the advantages of high quality,high yield,and strong disease resistance.The deficiency is long growth period(130d),which cannot mature well in most areas of Inner Mongolia.In order to make this variety adapt to local climate conditions,F1seeds were obtained by bagging self-crossing.Through multiple individual plant selections in greenhouse and field planting,four new colored potato self-crossing lines NNS-C8,NNS-C200,NNS-C249,and NNS-C260 with excellent comprehensive characters were bred.In this study,the main morphological characteristics,yield and quality traits,pollen fertility,PMCMⅠchromosome pairing configuration and SSR genetic differences of these four new self-crossing strains were analyzed with’Zicai No.2’as the control.The main results are as follows:1.The growth period of four new colored potato self-crossing lines were defined,and the growth period of strains NNS-C249 was the shortest,belonging to the mid-early maturing type;The growth period of strains NNS-C200,NNS-C260,and NNS-C8 was about 100 days,all of which were medium maturity types.There are certain differences in phenotypic characteristics such as plant height,number of main stems,and number of branches among different strains.2.There were significant differences in shape,skin color and skin smoothness among the four new strains.The number of potato producing per plant ranged from 6.33to 9.00,with the new strain NNS-C8 having the most tubers and NNS-C249 having the least tubers.The tubers of each strain were concentrated and tidy,and have shallow eyes.The yield per plant of each strain varies from 1.01kg to 1.34kg,and NNS-C260 was a new high-yielding strain.The average variation of weight per plant ranges from 138.89g to 162.97g,with strain NNS-C200 being the largest;The rate of commercial potato ranged from 79.19%to 90.69%,with strain NNS-C249 being the highest.3.The variation range of dry matter content,starch content,and protein content in tubers of each new strain was 18.51%to 20.75%,13.86%to 16.61%,and 1.36%to2.26%,respectively,and NNS-C260 was the highest among all the three strains.The anthocyanin content of each strain varies from 137.59mg/kg.FW to 388.34mg/kg.FW,with NNS-C200 strain being the highest.The content of reducing sugars in tubers among different strains was relatively low,ranging from 0.014%to 0.025%.The variation range of Vc content among each strains was 12.84%to 18.36%,with the highest variation being the strain NNS-C200.4.The pollen fertility rate of each new strains ranged from 53.65%to 81.17%,with NNS-S260 being the highest and NNS-C8 the lowest.5.The chromosome pairing configurations of the new strains NNS-C8,NNS-C200,NNS-C249,NNS-C260,and the control‘Zicai No.2’were 8.04Ⅰ+8.67Ⅱ+3.87Ⅲ+2.75Ⅳ、3.37Ⅰ+14.18Ⅱ+1.36Ⅲ+3.04Ⅳ、3.72Ⅰ+11.87Ⅱ+3.58Ⅲ+2.43Ⅳ、1.03Ⅰ+14.92Ⅱ+1.16Ⅲ+3.41Ⅳand 9.14Ⅰ+7.69Ⅱ+6.89Ⅲ+0.70Ⅳ.6.A total of 103 SSR polymorphic loci were obtained by PCR amplification of genomic DNA of each test material using 9 pairs of appropriate SSR primers,and the ratio of polymorphic sites was 85.83%,showing significant genetic differences among the materials.Using specific SSR primer C3,an SSR fingerprint map was constructed to distinguish each material.Based on the genetic distance(GD value)of 0.62,the five test materials were divided into two categories:the first category was strains NNS-C200 and NNS-C249,and the second category was strains NNS-C8,NNS-C260 and control’Zicai No.2’.
