For a long time,the goal of potato breeding in China is mainly to breed high-yield,disease-resistant and late-maturing fresh potato varieties.With the rapid development of the potato processing industry,it is urgent to develop middle-early-maturing new potato varieties for processing special-purpose.In order to breed new processing potato varieties with high-quality,after extensive selection by our research group,according to specific parent matching principles?economic trait complementary,origins and genetic difference?,our research group used the potato variety"LongShu7"with high starch content,high resistance to late blight and antiviral disease,and high yield as a female parent,and the imported material"MinII"with good commodity character as a male parent,obtained the F1 segregating population through artificial pollination.Then three hybrid new potato strains NNS-05,NNS-06,and NNCS-04 were bred,with outstanding comprehensive traits.In this study,using the parents as the control,I mainly analyzed and evaluated the agronomic traits,cytogenetic characteristics and SSR fingerprinting characteristics of the three new strains.The main results are as follows:1.The tuber dry matter content of the three new potato strains ranged from 21.51%to22.83%,the starch content from 14.41%to 17.60%,and the reducing sugar content from0.0302%to 0.0414%.The potato strains NNS-05 and NNS-06 can be used for powder processing,as well as fried processing.The new strain NNCS-04 was a colored potato,of which the anthocyanin content was up to 201.08 mg/kg·FW.2.All new strains were erect plant type,concentrated and tidy tuber,shallow eye.The potato tuber shape was elliptical.The growth period varied from 105 to 115 days.Both NNS-05 and NNS-06 were mid-late-maturing new strains,and NNCS-04 was a middle-maturing new strain.3.The tuber number of single plants in the new strains ranged from 4.35 to 8.51,the yield per plant ranged from 1.10 to 1.38kg,and the commodity potato rate was above 81%.4.The fertile pollen rate of the new strains ranged from 61.10%to 70.19%.Therefore,the new strains could be used as hybrid intermediate material for further improvement.The PMCMI chromosome pairing configuration of the new strains NNS-05,NNS-06 and NNCS-04 were 2.96I+12.61II+2.54III+3.05IV,5.09I+9.76II+3.65III+3.11IV,and 1.92I+10.78II+4.32III+2.89IV,respectively.5.A total of seven suitable SSR primers were screened,and 184 clear and stable polymorphic bands were amplified by PCR,with a polymorphism rate of 65.22%.The SSR fingerprint of three new potato strains and their parents was established.
