| Rabbits are one of the most common experimental animals,which are widely used in research in the fields of biology and veterinary medicine.In recent years,the demand for rabbit clinical trials has also been increasing.Because rabbits are naturally timid and highly sensitive to pain,the risk of clinical trials is also increased.It is well known that,anesthesia is the key to ensure the smooth running of clinical trials.However,there are few research results on rabbit anesthesia at this stage.Single anesthesia is still the mainstream phenomenon,and it is unsatisfactory in terms of anesthesia and analgesia.The purpose of this experiment is to compare the difference of anesthesia and analgesia effect in rabbits under the condition of two compound anesthesia methods.To understand the advantages and disadvantages of the analgesic effect of two anesthesia methods in rabbit clinical trials.It is hoped that the results of this study can provide a reference for the selection of clinical anesthesia methods for rabbits.At the same time,it also provides a theoretical basis for the popularization and application of Zoletil-Dexmedetomidine Hydrochloride-NSAIDs combined anesthesia and analgesia in surgery and veterinary clinics.Thirty-two female rabbits with body weight in the range of 2.0-3.0 kg were selected as experimental subjects and randomly divided into 4 groups with 8 rabbits in each group,ZDM(Zoletil,Dexmedetomidine,Meloxicam),ZDT(Zoletil,Dexmedetomidine,Tofenamic Acid),ZD(Zoletil,Dexmedetomidine)and blank group(no surgery),injection dose:Zoletil(0.02 mg/kg),Dexmedetomidine Hydrochloride(0.04 mg/kg),Tofenamic Acid(Subcutaneous injection 4 mg/kg)and Meloxicam(Oral medication 0.3 mg/kg).The experiment was started after one week of feeding.During anesthesia,the basic physiological indicators(body temperature,heart rate,respiration),depth of anesthesia,pain response and degree of muscle relaxation were monitored in rabbits.Measure blood routine and blood biochemical indexes before and after surgery.There are two methods to observe the changes of various indicators and evaluate them.The results,the anesthetic and analgesic effects of the two experimental groups were significantly improved.The ZDM group had no significant effect on the heart rate,body temperature and gastrointestinal system of the animals,but the platelets,hemoglobin decreased,creatinine increased,and the body weight decreased significantly.It is not suitable for animals with severe pain and symptoms of hypovolemia,abnormal cardiopulmonary function,renal function,and thin animals.The ZDT group had no significant effect on the heart rate,respiration,body temperature and body weight of the animals,but had a greater effect on the gastrointestinal system.However,platelet blood,hemoglobin decreased,creatinine increase,so it is not suitable for animals with severe pain and symptoms of hypovolemia and abnormal cardiopulmonary function and renal function.Therefore,these two methods can meet the needs of anesthesia for scientific research and clinical diagnosis and treatment. |
