| The year 2020 is the end of China’s poverty eradication campaign and the substantive start stage of the Rural Revitalization Strategy.Consolidating the effective connection between poverty eradication and rural revitalization is the focus of China’s current revitalization strategy.Youyang County was originally 14 national key poverty-stricken counties in Chongqing,and now it is one of the two key counties for Rural Revitalization in Chongqing.Youyang County is also a mountainous area of Wuling and an area inhabited by ethnic minorities.It has typical and representative significance in consolidating the effective connection between poverty alleviation and Rural Revitalization.In order to rovide countermeasures and suggestions,the development status of Youyang Camellia oleifera industry,evaluate the role and effectiveness of Camellia oleifera Industry in poverty alleviation in Youyang County,and grasp it is advantages and disadvantages in helping consolidate the effective connection between poverty alleviation and Rural Revitalization need to understand.Using the methods of social investigation,mathematical statistical analysis,AHP and SWOT analysis,this paper makes a detailed exploration and Discussion on the Camellia oleifera industry in Youyang County,and the research conclusions are as follows.(1)The study defines and describes the relevant concepts of poverty alleviation,Rural Revitalization Strategy,woody oil,characteristic industries,poverty alleviation through industry and rural revitalization through industry,summarizes the theory of agricultural industrialization,the theory of sustainable development,the important discussion of the effective connection between poverty alleviation and Rural Revitalization and coupling effect theory.(2)This paper investigates and analyzes the current situation of Camellia oleifera Industry,summarizes and describes the development conditions and industrial development status of Camellia oleifera Industry in Youyang County.Youyang County has good natural resources and socio-economic conditions for the development of Camellia oleifera industry.By the end of 2020,the Camellia oleifera are planted about317000 Mu Youyang County,including original Camellia oleifera forest are 100000 Mu and newly built Camellia oleifera forest are 217000 Mu.Camellia oleifera planting has covered 38 towns and townships.The statistical results show that,the Camellia oleifera planting in Youyang is concentrated.There are only six townships with a planting area ratio more than 5%,namely Keda Township 17.70%,Wufu town13.21%,Muye Township 7.98%,Youpei town 7.09%,Mawang town 6.96% and Daxi town 5.61%.Among the existing Camellia oleifera forests in Youyang County,the area of primary inefficient forest,young forest,primiparity forest and high-yield forest are about 100000 Mu,115600 Mu,68200 Mu and 33300 Mu,accounting for 31.53%,36.46%,21.51% and 10.49% of the total area of Youyang Camellia oleifera respectively.At present,the production of Youyang Camellia oleifera is still in the initial stage.With the completion of the transformation of inefficient forests and the young forest,primiparity forest become into high-yield forests,the output of Camellia oleifera will be greatly increased.There are 115 business entities involved in the construction of Camellia oleifera base in Youyang County,including 37 enterprises,39 professional cooperatives and 39 large households,forming a good development trend driven by the demonstration of leading enterprises,the common development of state-owned enterprises and private enterprises and the active participation of farmers.Youyang Camellia oleifera industry promotes the mode of "company + base + large household + farmers".There are 5 camellia oil deep processing plants and 6 primary processing workshops,with an annual processing capacity of more than 12000 tons.It has formed a business system integrating Camellia oleifera planting,acquisition,processing,refining,packaging and sales,created a local brand,and has a good overall development trend.(3)At present,Camellia oleifera industry is facing problems such as insufficient output of Camellia oleifera forest in Youyang,processing bottleneck,low degree of intensive management,low utilization rate of modern science and technology,weak brand maintenance and so on.The main reasons are the lack of operation and management of Camellia oleifera forest,weak endogenous power of enterprises,poor government guidance mechanism,insufficient capital investment,imperfect Camellia oleifera market mechanism and so on.(4)The role and effect of Camellia oleifera Industry in poverty alleviation in Youyang were analyzed.It has created jobs and helped a large number of poor households to work out of poverty for Youyang County,Provide technical training to help poor households get rid of poverty and become rich through entrepreneurship,formed the three industries linkage to help poor households create service business opportunities.(5)The SWOT analysis of Camellia oleifera Industry in the effective connection between poverty alleviation and Rural Revitalization in Youyang County is carried out.It is found that the Camellia oleifera industry has inherent advantages in the connection between poverty alleviation and Rural Revitalization,such as superior natural conditions,Camellia oleifera industry is a traditional characteristic industry in Youyang County,product standardization,abundant available scientific research resources and broad land space and so on.Its development disadvantages are large investment,tight capital,insufficient intensive processing,lack of integration of primary,secondary and tertiary industries,weak brand advantages,insufficient influence and insufficient scientific and technological support.Strong policy support,strong market demand,the rise of online shopping and rural e-commerce,and the determination of carbon peak and carbon neutralization goals have created external opportunities.Frequent natural disasters,shortage of human resources and fierce competition are the external challenges of Camellia oleifera Industry.(6)The countermeasures and suggestions of promoting the connection between poverty alleviation and Rural Revitalization in Youyang County by Camellia oleifera industry are given.First,scientifically formulate industrial development planning and top-level design.Second,give full play to institutional advantages and increase capital investment and policy support.Third,improve the principal part of new-type agricultural management and establish the interest connection mechanism of forest farmers.Fourth,adhere to market orientation and strengthen the construction of Camellia oleifera characteristic brand.Fifth,strengthen technical training and promote scientific and technological achievements.Sixth,develop rural e-commerce and explore marketing channels. |
