Study On The Long-term Poverty Reduction Effect Of Camellia Oleifera Industry In Hunan Province

Since the founding of new China,China has formulated many policies on poverty and made remarkable achievements in the journey of poverty alleviation.By the end of 2020,China has lifted all poor households out of poverty and lifted the hats of all poor counties.But getting rid of poverty is not the end,but the starting point of a new life and new struggle.Next,we should do a good job in connecting the past and the future.In 2021,No.1 central document emphasized that after the completion of the target and task of tackling poverty,we should establish a transitional period of 5 years from the day of poverty relief to the county that has lifted itself from poverty,so as to help the horse to send a journey.Therefore,in the connection stage between consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization,how to make use of the poverty reduction effect of characteristic agriculture,take effective measures to consolidate the results of poverty alleviation and ensure that poverty alleviation does not return to poverty is a hot spot of common concern of the whole society.Taking the Camellia oleifera Industry in Hunan Province as an example,this paper first expounds the research and relevant theoretical basis for poverty reduction in characteristic agriculture at home and abroad,and then analyzes the development status of Camellia oleifera Industry in Hunan Province,as well as the long-term poverty reduction effects in economic,social and ecological aspects brought by Camellia oleifera Industry in recent years.Then,based on the comparative advantage theory,this paper analyzes the poverty reduction mechanism of characteristic agriculture,and believes that the organization and scale of Camellia oleifera industry,mechanization and branding,informatization and greening and modernization will make the Camellia oleifera industry transform regional advantages into efficiency advantages and benefit advantages,so as to realize long-term poverty reduction.It puts forward hypotheses and uses the Camellia oleifera industry data of 14 cities and prefectures in Hunan Province to verify and analyze the poverty reduction effect of Camellia oleifera industry,The results show that the two comparative advantages of efficiency advantage and benefit advantage of Camellia oleifera industry will have a positive impact on rural poverty alleviation.The research results are consistent with the research hypothesis.According to the influence coefficient of the control variables on Farmers’ income in the research results,it can be seen that optimizing the industrial structure,improving the level of financial support for agriculture,increasing investment in fixed assets,promoting urbanization and improving transportation facilities can also have a positive effect on rural poverty alleviation.According to the research results,in order to make use of Camellia oleifera industry to consolidate the achievements of poverty eradication and effectively connect rural revitalization,this paper puts forward the following suggestions:establish cooperatives to realize organization and scale;Improve the level of mechanization and science and technology,and improve production efficiency;Improve the degree of informatization and branding,and broaden sales channels;Reduce environmental pollution and promote green industrial development;Increase investment in fixed assets and improve the convenience of construction;Increase financial.subsidies and improve the efficiency of financial support for agriculture;Optimize the industrial structure and promote the integration of three industries.
