| Currently,China has entered a new era,economy continues to grow steadily and in the near future,many institutional factors in the economic sector will undergo earth-shaking changes.As the level of enterprise development improves significantly,the degree of competition in the market becomes increasingly fierce.S Company operates in the railway industry and urgently needs a performance evaluation system that can effectively motivate employees and enhance the overall competitiveness of the enterprise in order to adapt to the current market competition environment and improve the company’s comprehensive strength.The balanced scorecard is a performance management tool that became popular in the late20 th century.It effectively improves the company’s capabilities in all aspects,improves performance evaluation indicators,strengthens the company’s management level,and promotes the realization of corporate strategic objectives by evaluating the four dimensions of finance,customer,internal processes,and learning and growth.Therefore,in order to solve the performance management problems of S Railway Company,we need to design a performance evaluation system based on the balanced scorecard,which has certain theoretical and practical significance.Based on the balanced scorecard theory,this paper studies the performance evaluation of S Railway Company.Firstly,through the method of literature analysis,the relevant research results of performance evaluation at home and abroad are sorted out to understand the research dynamics and development trends of performance evaluation,and relevant basic knowledge is sorted out as the theoretical basis for research.Secondly,S Railway Company is investigated to understand the basic situation of its performance evaluation and summarize the main problems that exist.On this basis,the balanced scorecard is introduced to construct S Railway Company’s performance evaluation system,and the analytic hierarchy process is used to solve the weight of performance evaluation indicators,obtaining the enterprise-level balanced scorecard of S Company.Finally,in order to smoothly implement the performance evaluation system based on the balanced scorecard,corresponding security measures are proposed from the perspectives of system,personnel,organization,and culture.This paper uses research methods such as literature analysis,case analysis,and quantitative and qualitative analysis to study the performance evaluation of S Company.The research found that there are many problems in S Railway Company’s performance evaluation,mainly manifested in excessive emphasis on financial evaluation indicators,lack of integration with the company’s strategy,lack of fairness with performance evaluation of departmental level and individual level of employees and lack of communication and feedback.On this basis,a multidimensional performance evaluation system for S Railway Company is constructed using the balanced scorecard,including corporate finance,customers,internal processes,and learning and growth.In addition,in order to support the implementation of the performance evaluation system,S Railway Company also needs to make corresponding improvements in the aspects of system,personnel,organization,and culture,including obtaining support and attention from middle and senior management,establishing a performance management committee,establishing a practical and feasible performance evaluation system,improving communication and incentive mechanisms,strengthening corporate culture construction and employee training and education,and strengthening information construction.Only in this way can the overall capability of the enterprise be better improved and help the enterprise achieve high-quality and sustainable development in the fierce market competition environment.The research conclusion of this paper can provide alternative solutions for solving practical problems of S Company and provide reference value for other enterprises in China’s railway industry. |
