| With the continuous advancement of urbanization,China’s urban development is gradually shifting from an "incremental expansion" to a "stock optimization" model. The renovation of old communities has emerged under this trend, and the development mode of old city renewal has enriched the traditional urban development model.Green space,as an important component of old communities,is of great significance for research and renovation. In this context, this study takes the green space of old communities in Chengdu as the research object, and constructs an evaluation system for green space of old communities through literature review, expert consultation, and entropy weight method;Using methods such as questionnaire survey, field research, and software analysis, green space survey and application evaluation were conducted on three representative old communities: Workers’ Village Community,Shuinianhe Road North Community, and Xiajiancao Community;Using IPA analysis to summarize the problems of green spaces in old communities and propose micro update strategies; Finally, taking the Workers’ Village community as an example for renovation practice, the following research results were achieved:Firstly,by reviewing relevant national documents and literature, three criteria layers for evaluating green spaces in old communities, namely spatial layout, environmental quality, and emotional experience, were summarized;Based on the frequency of use of relevant content in previous research results, preliminary screening evaluation indicators were conducted, and experts and relevant professionals were invited to evaluate the importance of the indicators.Based on feedback and on-site research,17 indicator layers were finally determined; Finally, the entropy weight method is used to calculate the weight values of each indicator.A green space indicator evaluation system for old communities in Chengdu has been constructed, which includes 3 criteria layers and 17 indicator layers.Secondly, using three representative old communities in Chengdu, namely Workers’ Village Community,Shuinianhe Road North Community, and Xiajiancao Community,as empirical examples,a questionnaire survey was conducted to analyze and evaluate the green space within the community using software such as Depthmap and Arc GIS.The results showed that the comprehensive evaluation score of green space in the Workers’ Village community was 2.2475,with an average satisfaction level ranging from 1.77 to 2.64;The comprehensive evaluation of green space in Shuinianhe Road North Community is 2.7922,with an average satisfaction rate ranging from 2.30 to 3.20;The comprehensive evaluation score of green space in Xiajiancao Community is 3.5279,with the highest satisfaction rate, with an average of 3.07-3.96.The results of the system evaluation are consistent with the onsite research situation.Analyze the problems existing in the green space of old communities in Chengdu, and construct an IPA model using the weight values of each indicator as the horizontal axis and the average satisfaction as the vertical axis.Identify the secondary areas that need to be improved in the green space of old communities, including flexibility, adaptability, and the creation of a sense of place; The key areas that need to be improved include functional diversity, spatial scale, and location attractiveness. Finally, the overall renewal strategy for green spaces in old communities in Chengdu is proposed:(1)optimizing spatial layout and reshaping spatial form;(2)Improving environmental quality and revitalizing community vitality;(3)Pay attention to emotional atmosphere and reproduce unique styles and features; From the perspective of green space analysis, renewal strategies were proposed for road space, green space, and leisure space.Taking the Workers’ Village community as an example, based on its current green space environment, through reshaping the gray space within the community, reusing abandoned space, and integrating historical and cultural elements, the design scheme is transformed from three aspects: spatial layout, environmental quality, and emotional needs, providing certain reference significance for the micro renewal of green space in old communities. |
