The development of school-based curriculum is a basic way to realize vocational education to serve regional industrial and economic development and to show the characteristics of secondary schools. This study uses ADDIE theory model,Dreyfus theory of professional talent development and constructivist theory as the theoretical basis to construct a school-based curriculum development model based on the growth of vocational competence.A combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods was used to analyze the curriculum development needs and research in four dimensions: regional industrial characteristics, curriculum development and management, job status and needs, and the current situation of curriculum learning. The DACUM occupational analysis method was used to systematically analyze the work areas, typical work tasks, and occupational competency requirements corresponding to the job groups of the curriculum,so as to ensure that the curriculum development can adapt to the regional industrial economy, enterprise jobs, school characteristics and students’ development needs.YK City Vocational and Technical School is located in the national hardware capital, according to the characteristics of the school’s mechanical and electrical technology applications, based on hardware and mechanical products, targeted development of the "three-dimensional design of mechanical products" school-based curriculum, which will help the development of the characteristics of the profession and the school’s philosophy and characteristics of schooling.Taking the job requirements as the guide, the growth stage of vocational ability as the external logic, and the complete working process as the internal logic, the representative and practical hardware products and parts are selected as the project carrier, the course knowledge system is reconstructed and integrated, and the typical work tasks are merged, sorted and transformed into teaching.According to the cognitive law of "from shallow to deep, from easy to difficult, from single to comprehensive",the course content is reorganized into projects, and the course content is divided into basic, advanced and advanced modules to realize the progressive training of basic, core and comprehensive abilities of students. The teaching effect of the school-based curriculum was tested by quasi-experimental research method. The experimental results show that after adopting the school-based curriculum of "3D Design of Mechanical Products" based on the growth of vocational ability, students’ learning enthusiasm is high, and their professional knowledge and skills, process methods and abilities, and emotional attitude and values have been improved to different degrees, especially their innovation and problem-solving abilities have made great progress. The school-based curriculum development lays the foundation for students’ career development, creates a cradle for the cultivation of skilled talents in local industries, shifts vocational education curriculum teaching from uniform generalization to school-based characteristic practice, and brings industry and regional practical knowledge into the classroom. |
