Post-occupancy Evaluation And Optimization Design Of The External Space Of The Shanghai Community Service Center

In recent years,China’s urbanization has developed at a high speed and has been stable for a long time.With the reform of China’s urban management system,the construction of community service facilities has become a key measurement to improve the urban management.Besides,the construction of the community service center basically reflects the quality of life of residents and the overall civilization of the city,affecting the future life and urban development of residents.How to combine community construction with the real needs of residents is the key to solving problems.Today,there are still a large number of urban community construction projects in the construction industry.As a public space for providing community residents’ activities and spiritual and cultural needs,the urban community service center has become a key component of community construction.The reasonable design of its external space will also has a positive impact in the process of building a harmonious society.This thesis has selected 5 typical community service centers from Shanghai.Based on the post-occupancy evaluation of its external space as the basis,combined with the characteristics of users’ behavioral activities,analyzes and summarizes the main contradictions and problems between the design of the current community service center’s external space and the users’ needs.Besides,it makes the targeted and optimized design suggestions,providing more possibilities for meeting the increasing demand from residents.It is hoped that it can provide architects with a set of scientific,rigorous,and feasible external space design guidelines to build an external space in the community service center that meets the behavior of residents’ behavior and the needs of behavior activities and spiritual and cultural needs,in order to promote the social harmony and strengthen the urban construction ability.This thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is mainly to ask questions and conduct preliminary theoretical research on the external space of the community service center and post-occupancy evaluation.The second part is the establishment of an external space evaluation system for the community service center.Through relevant literature and standardized reference,keyword collection and preliminary investigations of big data,extract the indicators,and then use the expert questionnaire to optimize and adjust each indicator,and finally determine the evaluation system of the external space design of the community service center.The third part is the post-occupancy evaluation analysis of the investigation case.According to the design importance of the evaluation system,questionnaires and satisfaction questionnaires,investigating and recycling of questionnaires on the screening of the screened and questionnaires.Subsequently,the basic statistical analysis of the data,the analysis of importance satisfaction(IPA),the analysis of the structural equation model(SEM),and the analysis of the residential behavior were accurately grasped to accurately grasp the core issues that need to be solved in the external space of the Shanghai Community Service Center.The fourth part is the optimized design part.According to the problems of the external space of the community service center,the design principles are proposed and different targeted optimization suggestions are given to these the five community service centers,summarized the design strategy.In hope to provide another research perspective for architects to design the external space of urban community service centers.
