With the aggravation of global climate change,the trend of water shortage in China is becoming increasingly prominent.The contradiction between water supply and demand for urban residents is becoming increasingly severe,and the supply of water resources may become a bottleneck restricting the high-quality development of cities.Unlike the significant achievements in water conservation technology in the agricultural and industrial sectors,there is still great potential for water conservation in residential water use.Information dissemination,as an effective means of improving residents’ water conservation behavior,is urgently needed to alleviate the rigid constraints of water resource shortages on economic and social development.Therefore,exploring the intervention mechanism of information framework on residents’ water conservation behavior and simulating the diffusion of residents’ water conservation behavior under the intervention of information framework can provide theoretical basis and effective reference for educational departments to develop more targeted propaganda content and more efficient water conservation propaganda strategies.Based on this,this study takes "problem statement-theoretical preparation-mathematical explorationdiffusion simulation-strategy construction" as the main line,and conducts research on issues such as the intervention mechanism of information framework and the diffusion simulation of residents’ water conservation behavior.The main research content and conclusions are as follows:(1)Theoretical analysis of the intervention mechanism of residents’ water-saving behavior.By reviewing relevant literature and drawing on existing research experience to propose the "gain-loss" framework of water-saving propaganda information,applying SOR theory,information adoption theory,and fairness theory to the research field of residents’ water-saving behavior,extracting the information framework and key psychological factors that affect residents’ water-saving behavior,and thus constructing a conceptual model of the intervention mechanism of residents’ water-saving behavior based on the information framework.(2)Empirical research on the intervention mechanism of residents’ water-saving behavior.Using psychological experimental methods,multivariate statistical analysis,and hierarchical regression,a 2×3 between-group experiment was designed to explore the intervention mechanism of information framing on residents’ water-saving behavior,with 645 valid participants.The study found that the loss frame is more effective than the gain frame in stimulating residents’ water-saving behavior.Environmental fairness perception and perceived usefulness of information play a mediating role in the process of information framing intervention on residents’ water-saving behavior.Relationship intimacy plays a moderating role in the mediating effect of environmental fairness perception and perceived usefulness of information.(3)Construction and simulation of a diffusion model for residents’ water-saving behavior.Considering the differences and interaction effects of information framing and relationship intimacy in behavior diffusion,a behavior diffusion model with group structure and two-way transformation mechanism is constructed.The study found that the relative change in initial node values affects the number of water-saving behavior adopters with different information framing tendencies.The introduction of group structure in the scale-free network conforms to the complex nature of social networks,and the promotion effect of group intimacy on the diffusion of residents’ water-saving behavior is more significant than that of friend intimacy.The characteristics of water-saving propaganda information affect the diffusion tendencies of different residents.This study explores the mediating effects of perceived environmental fairness and perceived usefulness of information,as well as the moderating effects of relationship closeness,in the process of information framework intervention on residents’ water-saving behavior.A water-saving behavior diffusion model considering group structure and bidirectional transformation mechanism is constructed.This study promotes the integration between water-saving and information dissemination fields to a certain extent,which helps educational departments grasp the diffusion laws of water-saving behavior and develop effective propaganda content.
