As One of the outstanding products of traditional Chinese culture,bionic ewers(zhíhú),a type of container for holding and pouring wine or tea,is an essential container for ancient people to pour wine and tea,reflecting people’s culture and life.Bionic Ewers fully reflects people’s culture and life,and has valuable reference value for studying the creative thinking behind traditional Chinese artifacts.As one of the classic styles within the category of zhuhu,the biomimetic form combines art and functionality,integrating imagery and physicality to express the conceptual characteristics of the object.It represents the creative spirit of the Tang and Song dynasties.This study employs methods such as literature retrieval,qualitative research,quantitative research,case studies,and interdisciplinary research.It collects samples of Tang and Song dynasty zhuhu from archaeological discoveries,books,museum collections,and other resources,focusing on the perspective of biomimetic design and conducting data selection.By conducting in-depth research on the creative methods and concepts of biomimetic zhuhu in the Tang and Song dynasties,it aims to further explore and discover the traditional creative thinking of China.The article traces the origins of the form of biomimetic zhuhu and the creative thinking behind biomimicry,analyzing the cultural origins of biomimetic zhuhu.It studies the relationship between the form and the meaning in Tang and Song biomimetic zhuhu by analyzing the representation and symbolic significance of biomimetic imagery in the design.It explores the relationship between biomimetic form and the zhuhu object by analyzing the stylistic characteristics of biomimetic forms in zhuhu.Finally,it compares the developmental changes in biomimetic zhuhu forms during the Tang and Song dynasties,and discusses the aesthetic styles and cultural influences on biomimetic zhuhu in different periods.The aim is to thoroughly analyze the connection between culture and zhuhu design during the Tang and Song dynasties and demonstrate the significant role of biomimetic forms as cultural symbols in the design of artifacts.The design of biomimetic zhuhu in the Tang and Song dynasties drew inspiration from the natural world,combining biomimetic elements with form and function,adapting the shape of the object to the user’s needs,and conveying the intention behind the object’s design to the user.These insights have certain implications for the design and improvement of modern products,enriching the design thinking in the field of biomimetic product research in contemporary China.They provide reference for the design process of contemporary cultural and creative products and enhance the cultural confidence of contemporary Chinese people. |
