Yongzhou Lingling is one of the four historical and cultural cities in Hunan Province.The unique natural landscape environment,profound historical and cultural accumulation make the ancient city image unique and distinct.Historically,the landscape culture of Lingling Mountains and Waters has been extensively developed,especially in the Tang and Song Dynasties.Extensive landscape aesthetic activities and a large number of landscape poetry creations have pushed the landscape image of Lingling to the peak and laid the foundation of the landscape of Lingling's historical and cultural heritage.The landscape image based on the abstract cognition of the specific landscape environment is the ancient combination and understanding of the Lingling landscape and self-emotional cognition and ideological perception,and profoundly reflects the local spiritual temperament and cultural characteristics of Lingling.Studying the landscape image of Lingling in Tang and Song Dynasties,analyzing the rich connotation of the aesthetic imagery of the landscape,it is helpful to deeply interpret the traditional aesthetic taste and historical and cultural connotation of Lingling scenery,which is important for the continuation of urban historical context and has a great research value in the contemporary activation of landscape aesthetic consciousness.Based on the perspective of Chinese traditional culture aesthetics,this thesis takes the landscape poetry of Yongzhou Lingling scenery in the Tang and Song Dynasties as the research object and studies the landscape image of the Lingling in Tang and Song Dynasties based on semiotic theory.The main conclusions are as follows:In the landscape aesthetics of Lingling in Tang and Song Dynasties,time and space are two important contents of the aesthetics of landscape imagery.Based on the rich landscape imagery of Lingling,this paper divides the landscape imagery of Lingling into two major symbolic systems:time and space.The time-image symbol is divided into a seasonal image,a meteorological image and an object image,which include spring,summer,autumn,winter,day,month,rain,wind,snow,plants,animals and other forms of time.The spatial-image symbol is divided into two types:landscape image and architectural space image,which include mountain,cave,river,stream,continent,lake,pool,canal,raft,pavilion,bridge,building and other spatial forms.On the basis of the classification of image symbols,this paper re-expands to analyze each type of image one by one,and expounds the generation and expression of space-time imagery symbols in Lingling scenery,revealing the literati's aesthetic understanding and emotional relationship behind the symbols.In Tang and Song Dynasties,people felt the emptiness and spiritual feeling brought by the time in the beauty of the tenth rounds of the reincarnation,the beauty of.the sky and the beauty of flowers and birds,and the beauty of mountains and waters,feeling the secluded and strange environment brought by the space.In the limited time and space scenery,there is an infinite view.Different aesthetic subjects will have a variety of understandings and image interpretations of landscape aesthetics because of different cultural awareness and values,thus producing rich imagery emotions.On the basis of the analysis of imagery symbols,the study further summarizes the emotional connotation of the imagery of Lingling,mainly manifested the feelings of history of the country and the statement of life.People in Tang and Song dynasties worried about the country and people's feelings of home and country,the sorrow of official careers,the loneliness of homesickness and open-minded elegance,all of these emotions can find the sustenance and interpretation through the landscape imagery.In this paper,the study of the landscape imagery in the Tang and Song Dynasties not only explores the "view" of the time and space of the image symbol,but also transcends the symbol itself,sums up the image symbol of "feeling",so that we can deepen our understanding of the cultural characteristic of Lingling,and offer reference and inspiration to modern gardens through the study of landscape imagery.
