With the development of society,the children’s living conditions are increasingly valued by all walks of life.Due to age constraints,outdoor activities occupy a large proportion of children’s daily lives.Therefore,the activity areas in residential areas are the most frequently exposed outdoor environments.Its quality directly reflects the level of environmental design in residential areas and affects residents’ Personally feel.At present,most residential areas have exclusive outdoor game activities for children,but most of them only stay in a small area or place a few single activity facilities for children to play.The venue lacks some lively signals to attract Children’s attention to the venue.Therefore,we should build a venue environment that can provide children with a keen interest,enlightenment of mind and education,provide children with life skills training and cultivate their spirit of innovation and exploration,so that children can take the initiative to learn Gaining a sense of accomplishment and happiness brought about by knowledge is of great practical significance.Based on the basic environmental features of outdoor children’s activities in residential areas,this article discusses the problems existing in domestic children’s activity areas on the basis of reading domestic and foreign literature,and summarizes excellent design cases and experiences in this field at home and abroad.On this basis,this article conducted field research on the status quo of children’s activity areas in several projects in Dalian,further clarified the existing problems in the children’s activity area,and adopted a questionnaire survey on the needs of parents on children’s activity venues.Research.To solve the problems in the design of children’s activity areas and further meet the needs of parents and children,this paper incorporates the ideas of cognitive education into the design of children’s activity areas in residential areas,from accessibility,security,humanity,and interest.Four aspects elaborated the design principles of children’s activity venues in residential areas based on cognitive education.Finally,based on this principle,based on the design of children’s activity environment in Dalian Longhu·Xinghai other shore project,this article expounds the design and application of children’s activity venues in residential areas based on the concepts of cognitive education from the perspectives of site design,landscape design and sketch design.In order to provide a theoretical and practical reference for the design of children’s activities in residential areas in China.
