Urban Furniture Design For Aging In Old Communities From The Perspective Of Active Aging

In order to actively cope with the aging population,the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development proposed to incorporate the concept of "suitable for the aged" into the reconstruction of old residential areas.How to carry the "great happiness" of the elderly through "small transformation" suitable for aging has become an increasingly concerned topic in the society.The stock of old residential areas is huge,the living environment is not old,the lack of health care service facilities and other problems are extremely prominent.Aiming at the problem that aging service facilities should be urgently replenished in the renovation of old residential areas,this study takes the design of fast-fitting aging urban furniture with diversified functions as the main body of the study on the basis of in-depth analysis of the relevant design criteria of aging urban furniture and the actual needs of elderly residents,and explores the safe,comfortable and healthy urban furniture design mode adapted to the fragmented small and micro space of old communities.In order to promote the construction of livable environment for the elderly,improve the quality of life of elderly residents.This study focuses on the research of the design of aging urban furniture in the old community.Based on the analysis of the spatial characteristics and the types of aging urban furniture in Peixian,the theoretical framework of aging urban furniture design in the old community is constructed by combining the theory of architectural typology,modularity theory and relevant aging standards.Through in-depth analysis of the design cases of small and micro space and smart aging urban furniture in old communities at home and abroad,the design guidelines for this study are obtained.Then,starting from three levels of "the continuation of collective memory space","health,safety,convenience" and "function diversification",the research on the design of aging urban furniture in the old community of Hanjie Community in Peixian County is carried out.The following design strategies are proposed: first,preserve the memory activity space of the elderly in the old community;Second,to guide the elderly to live a healthy lifestyle;The third is to design the scale and form of urban furniture suitable for aging in the fragmented site space;Fourth,intensive and efficient use of fragmented space in old communities;Fifth,the concept of green design is implanted.The above strategies can be used to form an age-appropriate urban furniture space form that can meet the social needs of elderly residents,and achieve a safe and healthy social distance.Finally,the rationality and applicability of the above strategies are verified through the design practice,in order to narrow the interactive relationship between the elderly,the urban furniture suitable for aging and the space environment of the old community,and provide reference for the design research and practice of the urban furniture suitable for aging in the relevant old community.
