In the management of manufacturing enterprises,managers have paid too much attention to production,which lead to the frequently neglecting to the management of equipment spare parts.However,it is an important mean for enterprises to enhance their market competitiveness by controlling stock of spare parts and improving its utilization rate.As can be found by consulting related literatures and studies,most researches have focused on the management of raw materials,which are usually needed in production,and it turns out that most enterprises are still in the exploratory stage of equipment spare parts management.Based on the current situation of equipment spare parts management,this study takes the optimization of equipment spare parts management as the research object and Company K as an example,exploring the management scheme of equipment spare parts in manufacturing enterprises and how to optimize the management of equipment spare parts.By optimizing management scheme,the inventory of equipment spare parts is expected to reduce,so that it can be ensured that the company can obtain the maximum profit with the minimum capital investment,and improving the competitiveness of the company’s products in the market.As can be concluded from previous researches,various theories have been proved to be related to equipment spare parts management.There are ABC classification and EOQ model Within traditional management theories;and supplier managed inventory(VMI),joint inventory management(JMI),and collaborative supply chain inventory management(CPFR)within the modern management theory;In terms of equipment spare parts budget management,the budget quantity of equipment spare parts is related to the quantity of receiving,and the performance appraisal is related to the accuracy of budget data;As for software management,warehouse management system(WMS)and material information data two-dimensional code(PDA)acquisition are added;In the aspect of personnel management,new measures in work process are taken to manage procurement staff,quality control staff and workshop maintenance staff.By analyzing the current situation of equipment spare parts management of Company K in the case from the aspects of equipment spare parts budget,procurement,storage and usage,it is concluded that the main problem of Company K in equipment spare parts is that its inventory is too large,which takes up a large amount of capital of the enterprise,and this part of fund are not able to circulate due to these spare parts are leaving unused,which means that these funds cannot produce benefits.Focused on the problems of high inventory and overstock of equipment spare parts,and based on budget,purchase,storage and usage,this study proposes an optimization scheme for equipment spare parts management to reduce the inventory.This scheme includes budget data management,procurement personnel training,supplier performance assessment,making equipment spare parts replacement plan for more than three years,equipment spare parts quality management process reengineering,PDA technology record,WMS system management,and equipment transformation.By taking these management program,the purpose of reducing equipment spare parts inventory can be achieved.By analyzing and comparing the different situations that equipment spare parts inventory of K Company might express before and after the optimization schemes have been taken,the implemensibility and effectiveness of the schemes can be verified,and the parts that need to be improved would be clear.By repeating these measures,improving the scheme constantly and promote its implementation continuously,and making comparisons between before and after the schemes been taken,the most suitable scheme for equipment spare parts management of Company K will be obtained.Taking this as an example,by exploring a better equipment spare parts management scheme of Company K,this study aims to provides references for manufacturing enterprises in equipment spare parts management,hoping to helpful for enterprises to control equipment spare parts inventory,improve inventory turnover and enhance their market competitiveness.
