Research On Geriatric Hospital Design Under The Concept Of Healing Environment

In the context of the severe aging of the population,the national policy proposes to encourage and promote the gradual transformation of some primary and secondary hospitals into rehabilitation hospitals and geriatric hospitals.At present,the geriatric hospital is not very targeted in terms of space or function,and cannot meet the needs of elderly patients.Nowadays,more and more people begin to pay attention to the particularity of the elderly group,and how to design the healing environment used by the elderly has become the focus and direction of the industry.This paper summarizes the problems arising from the investigation and analysis of Kunming Geriatric Hospital,and summarizes the design intervention strategies of geriatric hospitals based on the behavior and physical and mental characteristics of the elderly,combined with the relevant elements and case studies of the healing environment.Finally,taking the design of Kunming Dongchuan District Geriatric Hospital as an example,the design strategies of environmental intervention,behavioral intervention and psychological intervention are applied to practice.The design and research of the healing environment of geriatric hospitals is conducive to expanding the design and research field of geriatric hospitals,promoting the development of elderly buildings into healthy buildings,and promoting the development of healthy aging.
