Study On The Landscape Design Of The Hospital Healing Garden

With the advancement of the society and economy,the city construction has continuously expanded and people's life has paced up,accompanying which are the deterioration of the ecological environment,huge pressure and anxiety leading to various chronicle diseases and psychological problems.Thus people are more conscious of the close ties between the natural environment and their physical and mental health.People rarely pay attention to the healing garden,which aims at convalescence and health care and plays an active role in promoting health.The delicately-designed and well-functioned healing gardens will improve people's health outcomes while feasting their eyes.However,healing gardens have not attracted much attention in China at present and there is a lack of scientific and unified design and planning,so the author tries to do some research on this topic.This thesis starts from the research background of healing gardens,illustrates the related concepts,states the research meaning,purpose as well as the situation of study at home and abroad,and explain the approaches of this study.Secondly,based on the theory of environment behavior as well as from multi-aspects and multi-perspectives,the thesis profoundly analyzes different users' emotional needs a nd behavior modes to the scenery environment of the healing gardens.After that,the thes is analyzes and compares typical cases in foreign countries and extracts advisable design approaches,on which basis the thesis gets optimum design strategies that are users' beha vior and needs-oriented.At last,this thesis,based on users' demand and behaviors toward healing gardens,applies the case-study method from three aspects,space partition,landscape elements design and planting disposition.The research outcomes are applied to the practical case,the healing garden design of Laohekou city first hospital,so as to consider the prospect of healing gardens.
