Performance management is an important guarantee for the continuous improvement of an enterprise’s comprehensive competitive strength,and also a guarantee for the stable and sustainable development of an enterprise.Performance management is often referred to as the baton of enterprise management.The key point is that it is an important tool for enterprises to improve operational efficiency and mobilize the enthusiasm of different departments and employees.For a long time,with the rapid development and progress of China’s market-oriented economy,more and more domestic enterprises have begun to attach importance to and continue to promote and optimize performance management.Among them,power supply companies,as a special type of state-owned enterprises,not only shoulder social responsibilities,but also bear the strong requirements of the whole society for the continuous optimization of its business organization and the continuous improvement of its business efficiency.Therefore,with the continuous deepening of the reform of power supply enterprises,such enterprises also have a strong demand for improving the efficiency of operation and management and organizational performance of enterprises.Power supply enterprises and even the entire power supply system are in urgent need of effective optimization of enterprise performance management.More and more domestic power supply enterprises are actively carrying out innovative practice of performance management.Based on this background,this paper takes the State Grid Mudanjiang Power Supply Company as the research object to carry out targeted research on the opera tion performance management of power supply companies.First of all,the basic practice of the performance management of the State Grid Mudanjiang Power Supply Company,including performance planning,performance monitoring and guidance,performance evalua tion,and performance feedback and application,is systematically grasped by combining the methods of field investigation and data collection.Secondly,combined with the actual situation of the company’s performance management work and the basic process of general enterprise performance management,a power supply enterprise performance management level evaluation index system composed of 4 second-level indicators and 12 third-level indicators is constructed.Thirdly,with the help of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model based on AHP,the performance management level of the target company is quantitatively measured and evaluated.It is believed that the performance management level of the State Grid Mudanjiang Power Supply Company is generally at a high level,and the performance plan level has the greatest impact on the performance management level of the State Grid Mudanjiang Power Supply Company,The performance evaluation level has the least influence in the measurement index system of the performance management level of the State Grid Mudanjiang Power Supply Company.Then,combined with the quantitative measurement results and the current situation analysis,it points out the typical problems in the company’s performance management,including the shor t implementation cycle of the performance plan design scheme,the negligence in performance monitoring and coaching,the performance evaluation index system to be optimized,the poor performance feedback and application effect,and also points out the main reasons for the above problems.Finally,referring to the current practice of Mudanjiang Power Supply Company in performance management,this paper puts forward relevant strategies for the optimization of performance management in Mudanjiang Power Supply Company of the State Grid.Including the optimization of the company’s organizational management system,the company’s performance plan,the company’s performance management process and the application of the company’s performance results.In addition,in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the company’s performance management optimization strategy,it also proposed supporting measures in three aspects of corporate culture,organizational system and basic resources.
