Study On Landscape Evaluation And Optimization Design Of Jingzhou Pocket Park Based On Availability Theory

With the continuous acceleration of urbanization in China,the contradiction of land resource scarcity is becoming increasingly prominent.At the same time,the development and progress of society have improved people’s living standards,and people are increasingly relying on their familiar living areas to obtain convenient and comfortable living experiences.As the public green space closest to people’s daily life,the urban pocket park provides people with multi-functional nearby activity space and is an important urban area leading people’s healthy life.In order to better meet the needs of people,improving the environmental quality of pocket park and improving the service quality of pocket park has become an urgent issue to be discussed.This paper takes four pocket park in Jingzhou City as the research object,introduces the theory of availability,and takes the construction of harmonious interaction between people and the environment as the starting point to carry out field research to explore the types of activities in the park and the availability behavior of users;By organizing research data,constructing park availability performance and evaluation levels,and exploring the occurrence and quality of park availability;Further study the importance and proportion of different influencing factors of various environmental elements in parks to users at the level of availability theory using Excel;Summarize and propose optimization design strategies,and take a park as an example to conduct empirical research,providing a new research perspective for the optimization design of urban pocket park landscape.The main research findings are as follows:(1)Drawing on Su Jianming’s scholars’ hierarchy of availability,the performance levels of availability of pocket park are respectively functional availability,five senses availability,emotional availability,narrative availability and creative availability,and quantitative research data can be used to study the real performance of interaction between people and environment in pocket park.(2)According to the availability classification of Mayer and Fadel,the evaluation levels of pocket park availability are respectively positive availability,negative availability and potential availability.Combining the five performance levels with three availability evaluation categories and quantifying the survey data can be used to evaluate the real level of availability performance of four pocket park.According to the scores,the environmental availability quality level of pocket park of the Municipal National Taxation Bureau is the best,and the environmental availability quality level of pocket park of the Municipal Data Bureau is the worst.(3)By analyzing the survey data,the main available elements of the exit bag park are the pavilion rack(structure),seats(rest facilities),landscape sketches,fitness equipment,road floor and plant landscaping.Based on the five performance levels,the proportion of each influencing factor of environmental elements in pocket park is obtained.(4)Five optimization design directions are proposed,namely,optimizing the availability of functions,stimulating the availability of five senses,improving the availability of emotions,strengthening the availability of narration and increasing the availability of creation.The landscape optimization design strategy of pocket park based on the availability theory is summarized and used as a design guide in the optimization design of pocket park of the Municipal Data Bureau.
