Innovation-driven industrial upgrading is the only way for the development of the construction industry.As one of China’s traditional pillar industries,the construction industry is of great significance for enhancing China’s independent innovation ability,seizing the commanding heights of traditional industries and solving environmental resource problems.There are many factors in the development of the construction industry.If enterprises want to make scientific decisions in the aspect of technological innovation,they need to have the correct performance evaluation of technological innovation.As a direct tool for enterprises to predict the future technological development situation,technological innovation performance evaluation can help enterprises plan related decisions more scientifically.As an independent subsidiary of state-owned enterprises,Chengdu Construction Engineering Eight Construction Company still has problems in technological innovation management and needs improvement.At present,the technological innovation performance of enterprises plays an important role,so it is necessary to establish a set of scientific and reasonable technological innovation evaluation system to promote the rational allocation of corporate innovation resources.Based on relevant theories of technological innovation,this paper firstly bases on the current situation of its technological innovation management,and then selects evaluation system indicators according to the actual situation of the enterprise through literature research,factor analysis,data envelopment analysis(DEA)and other methods to evaluate its technological innovation performance.Based on the analysis and evaluation results and the problems existing in the process of technological innovation,the paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to improve the performance of technological innovation of Chengdu Construction Engineering Eight Construction Company.Finally,according to the company’s "proportion of scientific and technological personnel","technical training costs" and other related indicators,it can be seen that the company has many problems in the process of technological innovation,including insufficient technological innovation output,redundant investment in transformation and innovation projects,low quality of technological innovation output,and imperfect technological innovation management system.And put forward specific solutions,including improving the comprehensive quality of the talent team,increasing training,improving the assessment mechanism,improving the reward and punishment mechanism,etc.,hoping to promote the effective development of the company,but also for other traditional construction enterprises to speed up technological innovation to provide a reference.
