At present,there are many problems in various industries,such as the acceleration of innovation degree,the improvement of innovation variability and the increase of technical barriers.It is difficult for enterprises to independently develop the required technology and comprehensively master the latest knowledge.It is difficult for undifferentiated technology and ability to effectively meet the requirements of new products and new processes,the risk and difficulty of innovation are further increased.Therefore,building a good innovation network with global partners,universities,research institutes and other organizations plays a great role in continuously improving the technological innovation ability of enterprises and obtaining core advantages.On the one hand,the relationship strength of global innovation network is classified into three categories: weak tie,strong tie and super tie.On the other hand,the technological innovation model of enterprises is divided into incremental innovation and radical innovation.On this basis,the paper studies the effect and influence mechanism of global innovation network relationship strength of wind power market enterprises on their own technological innovation mode selection.Focusing on 17 wind power enterprises that occupy more than 95% of China’s wind power market share,1014 relevant innovation subjects are collected as research samples around the world,and the joint patent data of each research sample from 1997 to 2019 are collected for quantitative research.Firstly,the relationship strength between enterprises and their partners in the global innovation network is determined by the amount of joint patent data.Secondly,the types of technological innovation modes between enterprises and their partners are determined by the types of joint patents.Then,the influence of the relationship strength of their global innovation network on the selection of technological innovation modes is studied by using the QAP network regression analysis method,Finally,YJ Energy in the wind power industry is selected as a case studyThe results show that:(1)the weak tie between enterprises and related innovation subjects will promote both incremental innovation and radical innovation,but the weak relationship will provide more heterogeneous information and access to more diversified knowledge for enterprises,so the promotion effect on radical innovation is more obvious.(2)The strong tie between enterprises and related innovation subjects can promote not only incremental innovation but also radical innovation,but promote incremental innovation more.The reason is that the strong tie can increase trust and make them contact with tacit knowledge of technological process,manufacturing,technology research and development.(3)The data results also show that the super tie between enterprises and related innovation subjects can promote radical innovation,but the promotion effect on incremental innovation is not obvious,which can not well verify the previous research hypothesis.It may be that the limitation of sample size leads to the deviation of data statistics and regression results.
